About this property

Cozy 2 Story Cottage w/2 Fireplaces!! Walk to wine tasting in Los Olivos!

Welcome! Our beautiful cottage is just a short 10 minute walk to the center of Los Olivos. Drive through the gates of our private 5 acre ranch, past the corrals, up the tree lined drive and enter our renovated cottage. The cottage used to be a hunting cabin back in the 1960's and still retains all of it's charm.
Enter into the living area with thick log walls where you'll find hardwood floors and a gas fireplace that open onto a dining area with a huge bay window. There's a complete kitchen with dark granite counters and marble floors, and a laundry/pantry room with your own washer & dryer. Tucked near the stairs is a fully equipped, renovated bathroom with a big, tiled shower and large fluffy towels. Off the dining area, there's a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and views of the garden. Wander up the staircase and you will discover the perfect master-suite. Light the fireplace and sink into the queen size bed with down comforter for a fabulous night's sleep. Just steps away is the bathroom complete with a Jacuzzi tub framed by Carrara marble.
The front deck has a porch swing and a wrought-iron table & chairs with a BBQ around the side. Across the yard is a picnic table under bistro lights if you prefer to dine al fresco.
For entertainment, the cottage has a 32 inch flatscreen TV in the living area with a Roku box that has Netflix and Amazon (no live tv/cable).
There's a dedicated Wifi network covering all of the house and grounds.

Cyclists are welcome! Los Olivos is a haven for cyclists. You can stash your bikes in our bike garage and if you need tools or air, we can help.

The cottage is a short 1/2 mile from the town of Los Olivos. It is situated up on a hill surrounded by huge mature trees, and an occasional inquisitive horse in the nearby pastures. You won't see any streetlights here. Close enough to pop into town but totally secluded for your privacy. SLEEPS 4 MAX.

Cozy Cottage

This is a cute cottage in great proximity to Los Olivos. We walked to town a few times. Fun hangout areas, comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. We will definitely stay here again.

Cozy countryside cottage

My husband and two sons thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the cozy cottage to the beautiful property with rabbits, birds, chickens, horses, nearby and dog. Fresh eggs were left for us in the fridge!

This is absolutely the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Los Olivos and surrounding communities. The 2 story cottage is just perfect. Its location is great. We rode the bicycles the owner provided, into town daily. My husband and I are retired seniors and riding the bike was an awesome bonus. There is also a coffee shop within a block or 2 that you can ride to. The owner provided us with fresh eggs from his chickens which we made daily. He even left fresh tomato’s! The horse farm was a delight. If we are ever back in the area we will 100% rent again.

Had a wonderful stay. The cottage is charming and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals and an added bonus - front loading washer and dryer! Great outdoor spaces to relax in as well. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful ranch very near Los Olivos. The cottage is very comfortable, elegantly appointed, with all the amenities of home. Easy walk to Los Olivos. The host is kind and gracious. We had a terrific time.

Beautiful Cottage

Such a cute place to stay in LO! Cottage was well stocked and extremely clean. The yard and property was gorgeous and even though the owners are right up the hill, everyone feels a world away. We will definitely stay again.

This is a great location if you want to have peace and quiet but be close to Los Olivos! The guest house is charming, immaculate and comfortable. This was our second stay there and we will be back again!

Great Place to stay

The house and property were very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. It's a short distance of the main street and gated as well so it was very private and quiet. We hope to stay here the next time we visit the area!

Los Olivos Get Away

This is the perfect place to get away. Close enough to town to walk for coffee and dinner, but be in peace and bliss out on the ranch. The house is perfect for 2 couples. We have stayed here before and will try to come again.

Why they chose this property

The tasting rooms, galleries, and restaurants of our quaint town are only a 15 minute walk. There's biking, horseback riding, golf, tennis, theatre, movies, shopping, festivals, farmer's markets and more. Santa Barbara, “the American Riviera,' is a short 30 minute drive south. Beautiful beaches are even closer, and never crowded. And our Los Olivos cottage is located right in the middle of it all!

What makes this property unique

Our rental cottage was the original structure on our 5 acre horse property. It's isolated in an grove of 100 foot cedar trees and 250 year old oaks. While we are only a short walk from Victorian Los Olivos and its thirty tasting rooms, our little ranch is quiet and secluded.
