Our family had a wonderful 5 day stay at Hoodoo Haven. We had plenty of space to spread out while at the house, with sitting, reading, and playing spaces all over the cabin. The small touches, like board games, puzzles, books (and coffee!) included made it feel like home. The whole family especially loved the downstairs arcade/tv/karaoke/skee-ball/shuffleboard room. It's our new favourite place to stay in Fairmont!

This cabin is amazing!! The pictures don't do it justice either. The place is extremely well laid out; the bedrooms, game room downstairs, and main floor layout were amazing. The massive front deck in front was incredible and doesn't look as big as it was until your sitting on it and enjoying the surroundings. The cabin is located on a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood and was 2 mins from forest pathways and the river to enjoy hiking on. Probably the best part for me was the massive yard which my older dog absolutely loved exploring and having multiple naps lying on while soaking up the sun. We'll be renting here again as much as possible. This was totally worth the drive out 100%!! I highly recommend this awesome cabin to anyone who loves the wilderness, and also the modern amenities it has to enjoy also.

Easter Long weekend

Last minute booking with family for the Easter long weekend. Check in process was automated and easy to navigate. Property was clean with ample supplies in the kitchen and sharp kitchen knives for cooking; a rarity.Take in take out waste was a cinch at Fairmont waste station. Hike up the river is 5mins away from home and allows you to follow the river or go up and hug the hilly trail. Arcade games and shuffle board were a hit; Tetris and Pacman round robin tournament anyone?Fees for VRBO's in BC, including taxes and hosting fees are simply too much these days for us to do this frequently; which is too bad- we would love to return.
