We were so pleasantly surprised about how roomy this house was for our stay. We were in town for a wedding and everyone was so comfortable. The scenery from all the rooms and sitting down by the lake was fabulous. We would definitely stay there again.

This lovely cottage was perfect for our group of 6. It had everything we needed! The beds were comfortable, the deck was amazing to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix. The hosts were easy to communicate with! We ordered pizza from B.C. Pizza in East Jordan…delicious! We also enjoyed Red Mesa Grill in Boyne City and Barrel Back restaurant on Walloon Lake!

We were there for a wedding for a close family friend! My family was with us and we had the most incredible time!! The house was incredible, the neighbors were so friendly and it felt like home to us!! Thank you to the owners!! We are already talking about planning another trip!!!

Great Place

We stayed for a 4-day weekend. The house had plenty of space for our extended group. The layout was nice and the home was stocked with linens, beach towels, life jackets, etc. We enjoyed hanging out on the large deck and on the dock. The owner was great to work with. We definitely would stay here again.

my family and I had an amazing time at your home, everything was perfect

we celebrated my nieces wedding there she was married at Castle Farms which by Ferry was only minutes away your place made our visit extra special we hosted a dinner party on Saturday for family and the place was absolutely perfect for us all the photos' don't do it justice the view was just beautiful , I enjoyed my coffee on the deck every moring i was there and just soaked in the view

Amazing Place to stay!

Our Family loved this place so much. House had everything we needed. And spotlessly clean. We had room to spread out and room to be together. We loved floating off the dock, we brought our paddle boards and were able to hop on off the dock. The area has plenty of things to do , many great places to golf, play tennis and pickleball.

Great House!

Very comfortable, roomy home. On an extremely quiet street. Beautiful views from deck and yard. Exceptional choice for a private getaway. Communication with the owner was always clear and friendly.

Wonderful vacation!

Perfect vacation. We had 5 adults and 5 children ages 1-11. Plenty of room. Kids loved the trampoline. Plenty of toys, books, legos,puzzles, coloring books and crayons for them. Games and books for adults. Plenty of sheets, towels and beach towels. Also had use of their kayak. Very clean. Kids loved playing in the sand. Water was to deep for younger ones, but I brought a inflatable pool, so they didn't mind. Definitly would stay here again.

Wedding weekend

House was amazing and beautiful. Perfect for family for daughters wedding at castle farms. We were unable to use grill burners were not working, and stove didn’t get past low heat to cook food. But rooms were amazing, view spectacular and neighbors friendly and sweet. We made non fire next to lake was very relaxing. We will def be renting next summer so can enjoy lake more. Thank you so much other than cooking issues we loved it. Rebecca

Suggestions & Issues

There is no ice maker. A courtesy would be a bag of ice in the freezer so we can start our vacation without traveling to the store. The washer takes forever to complete a load. There was a note that the knob to start the machine was broken but easy to move without it. We had a terrible time getting it to run!! Needs to be fixed!!

I am sorry for your concerns. We have a reverse osmosis system that provides the best water for drinking and for ice cubes . It is well a well maintained and delivers the purest water. Again it is mentioned in the new version of the cottage information. I am not sure how you received older information.. There are multiple ice cube trays in the white freezer that are available. It is unfortunately impractical to bring ice to the home between renters. You must have had an older copy of the cottage information as the washing machine is not broken. It was replaced and has an extra large capacity and various cycles so I will have to look into why you had difficulty with it. The previous machine had a broken knob. My apologies for inconveniences.

A Great House and a Great Time

I rented this house for a group of friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. It was perfect for us. We loved that it was right on the lake. We really enjoyed the campfires we had. The location was convenient for visiting Petoskey and Charlevoix. There was a minor issue but Duane was prompt in responding and very helpful. If we decide to do another girls' weekend, we will definitely look into staying at this house again!

Beautiful Location & Home

The home was beautiful and the location was perfect! We had everything we needed. The kitchen had everything plus two fridges and two freezers! With a large group that came in VERY handy. We brought two boats and between the hoist and the mooring, it was a perfect setup! Our favorite VRBO to date!
