Luxury Log Home "The Reserve"

Beautifully built in 'The Reserve' behind the Boyne Mountain Resort at the very top of the mountain. Last house at the top of the mountain.
"Walk" to the ski-down, to the end of the street and ski-in back to our street and then walk to home. the house is at the end of the street. Approx. 300 yards. Built near the Kitz warming cabin. Parking is also available at the Kits Warming cabin. The cabin is used by residents only, not renters. There is wireless internet in the home. Immaculate 6 bedrooms. (2) Master bedrooms with full baths.
Living room with plasma cable TV, VCR, DVD, gas fireplace, dining room seats 18. Large full kitchen, granite countertops and kitchen nook seats 8. Two car garage. 2,400 sq. ft. walkout with family room and gas fire place, plasma tv, pool table, giant connect 4 and foosball. Large bar for entertaining. Fire pit in back yard for camp fires. Master bedroom King w/ TV & bathroom. 2nd Master Queen w/ TV & bathroom, Queen bedroom with TV, 2 Full beds w/ TV. Two lower bedrooms, one sleeps 5 persons. One sleeps 4. Full and bunks.

Ski in ski out location great!Kitchen and house well stocked with needed equipment!Hosts were responsive and helpful:)To be noted…… the driveway is very steep( this was addressed prior to stay by the host) and is shoveled every snow morning , but can be intimidating ! The distance from entry to “The Reserve” and the house particularly during snow season takes about 10-15 min depending on roads and then another 15 down to the base area restaurants etc. All in all a wonderful home with lots of room for family fun!Note to host: Coming in after dark was difficult to find the house and navigate the driveway as there were no lights on the outside at all ! Would be most helpful to have some lighting on porch and on garage:)

Memorial Day Trip

My college friends and I get together every year for Memorial Day weekend and this place has been our favorite over the last 4 years! Perfect for large groups, golf & bonfires over the summer. The pictures on Vrbo don’t do this place justice!

The property was absolutely beautiful. Personally, I don't think the listing or pictures do it justice. Our entire family of 18 people were able to stay comfortably with room to spare. The kitchen was large and nicely stocked. The dining area had a spot for everyone to eat. The basement was AWESOME! Full bar area, Pool Table, Foosball table and a ton of games for all ages. The outdoor space was also very accommodating including plenty of seating and a bonfire pit. I would highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay!

This was the best rental that we’ve ever had for our large extended family of 16. The house had so much room to spread out and it’s even better than the pictures. It’s in a very private setting and which was beautiful. It was close to Boyne City and Petoskey where we had a couple of fun days. We were also close to Young State Park and Petoskey State Park where we enjoyed the beaches. Communication with the owners was spot on! We’d love to come back!

We know how much fun can be had on vacation, especially in a comfortable home. We often rent houses when we travel in the states and abroad. Homes like ours should be shared. We are unable to use the house as often as we should so thats why we decided to offer it as a rental.

Why they chose this property

The lot was was a challenge to build on and the driveway is quite steep. But being so close to the Kitz Cabin was the draw. Walking to the ski slopes and walk back to the house is easy. But you can always drive and park in the large parking lot. The perfect place to house large groups.

What makes this property unique

Our home is the perfect gathering spot. It's family friendly, with a lot of room to enjoy togetherness or to escape for a little quiet time. Enjoy all that the four seasons have to offer in Michigan. We have had many great times and have formed a lifetime of memories in our vacation home in Boyne Falls. We hope you will too!
