Beautiful homes! We had a bachelorette weekend with 15 girls and stayed in both houses. The homes are beautiful and the properties are so pretty with the creek in the back. The homes are not close together but definitely walking between them is no problem. Beds are comfortable. There are not a lot of kitchen tools and no spices or oils. So come prepared. The location was great in proximity to town.

Thank you for the lovely review! We're glad your bachelorette weekend was a hit across both homes, and that the creek, comfy beds and location worked well. We appreciate the note about kitchen supplies and have shared it with our team.

The property is beautiful and the house was clean. However, when we arrived, the air conditioner was not working and it was a 100* temperature weekend. The host had brought in 3 standing a/c units, 2 vented outside and were able to cool the bedrooms they were put in, but the final unit was not able to vent outside so any cool air it provided was counteracted by the extreme heat of the exhaust and with no living room ceiling fan, the temps were never comfortable in the house. We contacted the host and they promptly sent someone over, only to have them inform us that this had been going on for some time and nothing could happen until a repair could be made. On the 3rd day of our stay the inside temp rose to 81*, and even tripped the smoke alarm that obviously was not being monitored! The coolest it ever got at night was 73* around midnight. We had rented 2 homes and were only able to use one of them, we were only able to sleep, nothing else, in the one with a/c issues 3 of the 4 nights. In addition, the steps we took steep for safe navigation, one room smelled of mold, and the entry lock was not coded correctly. We should have been informed prior to our stay that the a/c was an issue that could not be resolved so that we could make other arrangements for the 40th anniversary we were celebrating. When all of this, and a few other minor things from the other home was addressed with the host we were only offered compensation of 15%.
