About the host
Hosted by Caroline Buzenberg
We are Asheville locals with over 6 years of experience hosting short term rentals. We love to travel and explore new places ourselves and would love to share our home and local Asheville recommendations of the town we love with you! We both work as Finance/Accounting professionals and in our spare time we enjoy hiking, traveling, trying out new breweries/restaurants, and spending time with our three year old son.
Why they chose this property
Town Mountain has always been my dream location to live in Asheville. It's quiet and located up in the mountains, yet so close to downtown. It's really the best of both! There's also usually no traffic to get to downtown, as it's one city maintained road directly into downtown with no red lights. It's also a great location for road biking, especially on the back neighborhood roads, and lots of wildlife! You have a good chance of seeing a black bear during your stay.
What makes this property unique
Location. This house is located up in the mountains, yet only 3 miles to downtown. It's also a beautiful, brand new build finished in August 2024 (right before Helene hit). We invested in building this home specifically with short term rental vacationers in mind with high tech modern appliances and features. There are several outdoor areas, including two outdoor decks and a fire pit, to enjoy the serene mountains with your friends and family - as well as group tv and dining areas to gather around inside.
