We rented this property for 2 employees who were working on a construction project in Carson City. Our employees were perfectly happy with the accomodations.

Beautiful home, initially was good communication with the owner. Upon arrival, noticed several things were broken (a kitchen light cover, cracked door frame from garage, broken shelf in refrigerator, smoke alarm chirping non stop. Floors and counters weren't very clean. Showers were supposed to have soap and shampoo - all bottles were either empty or hardly anything left. Soap dispensers at sinks were mainly filled with water. Laundry room was supposed to have soap, that was gone. There was only 1 trash bag and a half a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. The trash cans outside were overflowing.
We stayed here over the Christmas holiday, arriving just as a big winter storm hit. On Christmas Eve Eve, the house was extremely cold, and the downstairs heater wasn’t working at all. We ended up sleeping in our down jackets the first night, which definitely put a damper on our holiday spirit. The house wasn’t pre-warmed, and it took until midday the next day to get things comfortable. To their credit, the property manager did come out on Christmas Eve day and was very considerate. While he couldn’t fix the downstairs heater, he helped us get the upstairs heater to stop cycling on and off, and that at least made the upstairs comfortable. We were grateful for his help on a holiday.Still, the downstairs heater never got fixed during our stay, and we also noticed some other issues: a missing fire alarm downstairs, a remote with no batteries, and just a minimal number of towels. Overall, the home is nice and well-located, but the cold start and these issues made our Christmas less enjoyable than we’d hoped. We hope future guests have a warmer experience.
