About this property

Stone cabin w/ fireplace & deck

The Space:

The stone walls of the cabin catch the morning light as it filters through the wide windows, revealing rolling hills that stretch toward the horizon. You’ll hear the gentle rush of the seasonal creek nearby and feel the crisp, fresh air of spring settle over the landscape. After a day of hiking the nearby trails, you can unwind on the deck with a glass of wine, letting the scent of pine mingle with the faint perfume of blooming wildflowers.

Sleeping arrangements

- Bedroom 1 – Queen Bed

Beautiful stone cabin

Cabin was very clean and offered many sleeping areas. It was pet friendly although a fenced backyard would be nice. The flashlight located in the hallway was most helpful when letting them out at night. I would place a sign in the shower about pulling the ring down to get the water to come out through the shower. The window unit air conditioners were adequate for a June visit but probably not July or August. I was never able to receive the manual in my email. The key boxes should have the same code. I would definitely come back.

I live in DC with my wife and three young kids. I love camping/hiking, drinking (and sometimes brewing) great beer and wine, exploring new restaurants and shops, and traveling all over.

What makes this property unique

We spent years searching for the perfect getaway, and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and this cabin in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
