Unique Whidbey Island Retreat
Great location, views and price for a family of 6. This is a home with the essentials you need while visiting and experiencing the area.
This is a beautiful home! Very clean and lots of spots to cozy up. A great location in the middle of the island that leads to adventuring, if you'd like.

Great Place
Wonderful place for our family of 5. Plenty of room and close proximity to many activities. As previous reviews stated it does get warm during the day (we stayed mid July) but with the fan provided and the door open it cooled down quite quickly.

Charming property with all of the amenities
We had such a lovely stay here. The accommodations were both charming and comfortable. The view was lovely and I had wildlife visitors everyday: deer, eagles, racoons, and bunnies. It was a perfect get-a-way!

Outing in WA
The decor, deer and the scenery is amazing. We were not allowed at the pool. That was a downer. Kids were disappointed. Bottom shower was clogged and did our best to unclog the bath drain. Overall was still a great place to stay.

Hi Charlene. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced regarding the pool. The pool does have a maximum occupancy that, if met would not allow any more guests into the pool. We have been sure to include notes and details about the pool on the listing to ensure prospective guest are aware. Additionally, our maintenance team has addressed the drain to ensure it is not an ongoing issue. We hope to host you again soon.

The house was dirty.. we were very disappointed in it..
We will never use this sight again without investing it more.. we made our own good time but the house was very disappointing because of the uncleanness of it.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Lynne. We are truly sorry that the home was in this condition upon your arrival. Please know that this is not the standard grade of presentation that we provide, and that we take your feedback seriously. We hope the partial refund you were given has helped make up for some of the frustration you experienced. We have reviewed your concerns with our housekeeping team to ensure our standards are being met for every guest. We hope you will allow us a second chance to better serve you in the future.
This home was light, bright and modern. We really enjoyed the drive/walk just under a mile to the beach/pool. However, likely due to the proximity of doors and windows as well as lack of screens on any of them, it was nearly impossible to cool the house on a mid-70 degree day. For some reason, the home turns into an oven with all the natural light. The kitchen and overall main living space is rather small with very minimal counter space. There is a guest house right next to the main house (you can see it in the picture) which had a car in driveway and appeared to be inhabited, but no mention of this in the listing.
Got this place for family to stay at when they came for a wedding. Everything was great with the place and they thought the treehouse/loft atmosphere was really cool. However, this place is managed by vacasa and listed on vrbo. Don't expect quick response from the owners or property managers. I received responses from different person each time and it was a day later that I would get a response. The first responses before their stay were form answers as well and didn't answer my questions. Obviously, skimmed by some operator and form answers applied.

Great House but HOT
We loved this house, and the multi levels were great. The view of the water was wonderful and the back deck was very enjoyable. Really enjoyed the design of the house and space. The first half of the trip the temps were normal for this time of year (June) and the house was hot and even with the fans running and windows open it was still hot. Typically cooled off though in the wee hours of the morning for a couple of hours. Thankfully we were never there during mid-day when temps were the hottest, but afternoon/evening heat still was uncomfortable to say the least. When the heat wave hit (temps in upper 90’s/100) it was miserable. I hardly ever give reviews that’s aren’t 100% glowing, but would highly recommend a portable AC unit for the house, if even only for the upstairs room. Thank you for sharing your house with our family. We had a lovely stay otherwise.
Ps We had a hard time finding the pool mentioned in the description/information. Found it our last day, down by the beach, here is the address: 75 W Keystone Ave, Coupeville, WA 98239

Enjoyable week
We used the house as a base camp for the week while my wife and I with our 4 children visited the many national and state parks of the area. Overall the house was as described. Very open concept with the main bedroom in the loft. If you have little children , then please note that there isn’t a door to the up or down staircase. Large windows throughout the house let in a lot of light. The basement had two more bedrooms with a queen in one and a single over double bunk bed in the other. Not much privacy in the house as many of the doors were frosted glass and the third bedroom have a partial wall with small gaps around the edges, but it was very nice. There are three bathrooms (one on each level). The kitchen was nice and stocked pretty stocked. The house was clean and organized, with the exception of the outside patio and deck furniture. They were not set up when we arrived. It appeared like there were all moved for cleaning but not put back. The neighborhood was quiet, with the exception of the military jets that were practicing carrier landings at the nearby runway. That was only during one evening and my kids thought it was great to see them so closely. Overall we enjoyed staying in the tree house.
Beautiful spot with a lovely view. We went with 4 kids, three under 6 years old. The stairs were a little iffy but the downstairs was great for watching movies and relaxing. Quiet road and a lovely deck to have morning coffee :)Would love to go again but leave the kids at home!

Sounds like the perfect mix of family time and dreaming about a grown-ups-only return trip! We're so glad the view and that lovely deck delivered—morning coffee in a spot like that is hard to beat. Great to hear the downstairs was a cozy hangout for movie time, too. We did note your feedback about the stairs and have passed it along to our team. Whether it's with the kids or a quieter getaway, we'd love to welcome you back anytime!
Lovely place to stay, and close to everything on the island. Beware, the Navy likes to have fly overs, noisy but fun to watch. Well supplied cabin, and was perfect for our family reunion.

Lovely place, family friendly
Loved the location. The pool was my kids favorite with a close second being Fort Casey. The fun family games and downstairs bedrooms that were kid friendly were perfect! We had a great time exploring, eating in, eating out and exploring the area. It is a clean and beautiful house!
This house was located in a great spot. Quiet neighborhood with beautiful view to walk out to on the porch. The loft is a great little set up but do keep in mind there’s no closing off noise from the rest of the house. We had two babies traveling with us and setting up sleeping arrangements wasn’t the most ideal but we made it work. There’s are two rooms downstairs with a seating area and bathroom. One of the rooms has a door for privacy the other only has a barn door that slides almost shut but cannot be closed off to block out noise. We had a great time on our family trip and the house provided comfort and almost everything we needed. Fairly clean home upon arrival. We all had a great trip!
