Perfect place for a friends getaway. We lucked into Octemberfest weekend, so there was plenty to do; hiking, shopping, food, drinks and music. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed.

This rental was so close to being perfect, but it's impossible to overlook an overwhelming millipede problem on the first floor. It’s clearly a very damp area that must attract them. I hate to focus on the negative because everything else was wonderful—comfy beds, gorgeous natural light, and a fantastic screened-in porch. But constantly finding millipedes crawling across the floors to the point where we had to wear shoes inside and sleep upstairs makes this a serious issue that the owners need to address.

Great Place to Stay in Galena

Great little place just outside of Galena. Quiet little getaway, but close enough to the downtown area. Very clean, comfortable beds. Would recommend bringing a fan for the upstairs bedroom (it gets pretty hot).

Perfect getaway weekend

This property was exceptional and we enjoyed our entire four-day weekend. Very clean property and nice privacy. We really enjoyed the natural wood fireplace. Definitely a five star stay.
