This home has a well-equipped, open kitchen and a great room thoughtfully furnished and decorated for your comfort and enjoyment. Good spot for a winter getaway

2 weeks, end of Dec 2023. Spacious home, bedrooms- bathrooms inside or near and smart TVs everywhere, games. Loved shuffleboard. Nice location- beach access & grocery stores plenty, can easily drive to many places from here. Plenty of cookware. Property for sale- kitchen amenities & general look of couches-carpet-paint are outdated or a bit rundown but to be expected. Rooms are nice, new shower curtain liners were put in before our stay-such a nice touch. Window curtains clean! Beds clean! Advice: If you’re someone used to blackout curtains, do bring an eye/sleep mask. We enjoyed waking up with the sun - this was not an issue for us. Cleanliness - place vacuumed but stove not wiped clean and all the ceiling fans were so incredibly dusty - we cleaned it ourselves. Imagine in the summer time this could be worse with the people turnaround. Checked in virtually; first evening we left and came back to something wrong with the keyless entry lock. Tried multiple times; had to call the emergency number - someone did respond and reset the lock code and seemed to work. Docking a star as they said they would call back the following day but did not(Sunday). Luckily Village Realty sent us a form asking about cleanliness and maintenance so on Tues, a maintenance person came by and he fixed something with the door itself. No issues after that. Hot tub serviced during our stay and lovely, no instructions. Did not use fireplace-no instructions. Description about shuttles- not winter

We enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for our needs. The house was very clean ( I always look for deep cleaning i.e baseboards, walls, filters etc) It was obvious that the house is well taken care of! Village Realty us awesome to work with!

June 2015 Stay

We stayed at seven sister 7 and it was our first time in the OBX. Working with village realty was top notch from finding the house over the internet to using the app to experiencing a home with linens and a cleaning service all rolled into the price. The house was very well appointed and very spacious. The location and pool were excellent. I do have three recommnedations for improvement: 1) plant tall trees to block out the noise from the highway 2) each room has creaky boards that need to be screwed down and 3) add room darkening curtains to the bed rooms.
