My husband and i decided on a last minute getaway. We were so lucky this was available. Great spot to enjoy all of our favorite Lake Superior beaches and do some hiking. Would definitely stay again.

Very well maintained, nice cozy cabin on the lake, had a small issue with the grill and called about it and Nicole took care of it pretty much immediately

This was a cute little cottage right on the lake. Beds were comfy and the outdoor fire pit and chairs made this place a good stay.

The views were amazing and watching the boats and freighters go by was entertaining! The weather was cool but perfect to kick off Autumn. Sandra was super helpful and everything was neat and orderly.

The window screen fell out in the night from wind and landed on the person on the bed, which hurt and was scary. We did not see the fan that was under the bed until the next day when we checked to see if we left anything. Very small space…less than a typical hotel room.

Thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry about the window screen and understand how unsettling that must have been. As soon as we were notified, we had it inspected and secured.
We also appreciate your comments about the fan and the size of the studio. We do our best to accurately represent the space in our listing so guests know what to expect before booking. If we had known you were looking for a fan during your stay, we would have been happy to let you know that an extra fan was stored under the bed.
Thank you again for choosing to stay with us and for your feedback.
This was a nice little place on Lk Superior. This is a small one room cabin with just the basics. Beds and kitchen area are all in the same room, We were out all day exploring the area. Beds are comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. We also enjoyed a backyard fire overlooking Lake Superior and the sunrises are gorgeous. I would recommend if your looking for a great price, and clean place to relax after a day of exploring.

The place was cute. The pictures were deceiving. It did not look like the cabins were as close as they were. We had a great time exploring Whitefish Point.

The booking goes through a 3rd party property manager which made it more difficult. Beware of the 100 pet fee not clearly listed in the listing. You are one of 4 units and right on the main road so the traffic is loud.
Check-in was easy, however, no one told me there was a key under the welcome mat and I happen to stumble upon it which made me glad but kind of suspicious at the same time. The kitchen facilities were ok, I was disappointed that I couldn’t make coffee in the coffee maker that was provided because it was dirty and littered with pet hair in the water reservoir. Everything else was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The manager provided chocolate and graham crackers to make s’mores. The location is perfect and I would book a stay again. Thank you.

The place was clean; the box fan was much appreciated to put in the window and cool the room; and the microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee maker received a lot of use in our room.
The room has been painted since the pictures were taken. There are also a couple pictures in the listing that belong to another room, which was deceptive. There is nowhere in the listing that says you cannot enter the lake from the studio. We brought our dog and selected this location specifically because we thought she could swim daily but that was not permitted.
We also would have used a dish drainer if there had been one. The trees show evidence of people trying to tie hammocks or drying lines. Having a more permanent location for line-drying wet clothes/towels would protect the trees and benefit the guests.
The rugs upon entry should also be replaced with something with grip on the bottom. The rugs just balled up and slid around and left sand behind, not serving their purpose well.
We went to Whitefish Point and enjoyed the sunset among the beautiful rocks and driftwood on the sandy beach. Sunrise from the bench on the property was lovely. Watching the lights of freighters go by and seeing the Canadian wind turbines flash red in the night was really cool too. We went to the Rivermouth Roadside Park and the water was wonderfully shallow and warm with a sandy beach.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would not return due to inability to enter the lake on site.
