Updated Beachfront Balcony - Beach Place #312

Three Bedroom two bath direct beach front unit. Access balcony from living room and master bedroom. Master bedroom has king bed and walk in closet. Second bedroom has 2 queen beds and ample closet space. Third bedroom has 1 queen bed. Great family sized unit with amazing sunset, gulf and beach views. Watch the boats come and go into John's Pass and listen to the waves from the balcony and master suite. Large updated granite kitchen. Baths also have been updated with new cabinetry & granite. Free Wifi. 7 night rental minimum, Saturday arrival/departure required. Call for exceptions.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to onsite 7 day a week management and maintenance to assist with anything you might need. This is a non smoking home that has 2 assigned parking spots. There is no additional parking at Beach Place.

The best part though, is 312 Beach Place is close to everything! Within moments you are swimming in the heated pool, diving in the clear gulf waters, cooking at the BBQ's, or eating at one of the many great restaurants at John's Pass Village. A quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction, the Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This Gulf getaway has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Perfect getaway

This is the second unit we have rented at Beach Place and through this property management firm and we couldn't have been happier! We love the location, right across from John's Pass for shopping and dining out, and just a short drive from the grocery store when we wanted to dine in. We used the grills for the first time this trip which was very convenient to use. The sunsets were fabulous! Since nothing is "perfect", the only blemishes were minor: condo didn't have any pot holders and the washing machine was VERY loud (thanks for the warning) but we just ran it while we were out. We liked being on the north end of the building, since it was a little quieter than overlooking the pool. We will definitely be back and can't wait to stay here again.

Beachfront condo with direct access to John’s Pass

The cleanliness and accuracy are the only areas that were not perfect. We booked this location based off the photos. When new, the photos would have been spot on! However, appliances showed rust, the throw carpets were old and dirty, and the ice machine was broken to name a few things. Also the bed mattresses and frames need replaced. That being said the management communication was fantastic and the views were amazing! We also loved being only steps away from all the restaurants and shopping. All in all, we would consider staying here again, though maybe a more updated unit and on the top floor next time.

The property is located on a nice stretch of beach and within walking distance to John’s Pass restaurants and stores. 312 was roomy and clean. The bathrooms were updated and the kitchen was well-stocked. We liked that it had a washer and dryer in the unit. The living room furniture could use updating. The mattresses and pillows were very hard and not comfortable. Lastly, no beach towels are provided in this unit which is ridiculous for a beach property! We have always had beach towels provided at other beach vacation rentals. No one wants to use valuable suitcase space with bulky towels!

Good location/Poor Beds/AC not great

This condo had a beautiful view. It is in a great location. The parking is easy under the building. The check in process was awesome.The pictures online are very deceptive. The condo does not look quite as pristine as the pictures. That is very understandable. Most condos are like that.The AC was not able to be turned below 72. The units air did not run because it is in between other units. It was very hot at night. It had a specific warning not to turn below 72 because the unit would freeze up.The beds were very old and very hard. Some of the ceiling was falling away, where there had been leaks. That created a certain smell within the condo.Overall, they need to fix the AC so you can turn it down so it will run during the night. Also, just need some updating and fixing. The kitchen was great. The only thing there is that the icemaker did not work.

Ice maker didn't work, since there were ice trays I suspect it wasn't working prior to our arrival We checked in at our noon arrival, which was fantastic after a 1 and 1half day of travel. Pool was clean. Perhaps a sign in the elevator warning that area around pool could be very hot would be helpful.

Literally right across the street from the was just steps to the sand. Liked how it was secured entry. The only issue we had was checking in. There was a large group of us in 3 separate condos. The other 2 condos were ready early, which I understand isn't always the case, however, after checking several times to see if ours was ready I ended going to the office 30 minutes past the latest check-in time only to be told "I'm sorry, I don't know how you slipped through our calls". No complaints other than that.

We literally parked the car when we arrived and didn’t use it again until we left. With John’s Pass Boardwalk across the street we walked over every evening for dinner. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. As for the condo itself the beds were not very comfortable and it could use a good deep cleaning, but I would totally stay here again. Really appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit. I would like to see beach towels provided for a beach rental.

From the hard/soiled beds (yes stains on hard bed) to the pillows that are stained, musty smell & hard also to a coffee maker that didnt work, ice maker that didnt work and the frig had rust on it. Lets not talk about the small couch and chair that were old and stained. Bathroom fan didnt run. Balcony door has a gap between the wall and the door letting air in. Oh and the windows blinds were missing some & didn't close. I can't believe that this unit is being rented in this condition by the owners. We will NEVER stay in this unit. We never complain about anything in 10 years, but this was extremely bad. Sad thing is, the view was amazing, and we come every year. The management company staff is AWESOME!

Overall, our stay was very nice, with the exception that the air conditioner did not function properly for a large portion of our stay. We had to call 3 separate times and the issue was still unresolved. This was the only time in 4 years that we had any issues. We will absolutely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aside from a few cosmetic issues, the condo was great! Perfect view/location! Check in was a disaster. Was promised access by 4:00. Didn’t get access until 5:30. Was told we would receive a call/text when ready, never received anything. Went to office twice to check on status, and witnessed office staff being very rude to another guest. Had someone parked in our parking spot, asked a staff member what we should do, was told I should should go knock on door of car owner, wasn’t his problem. Have stayed with Sunhost Resorts many times over the years, this was by far the worst customer service I have encountered with them. Very Disappointing!!
