The only thing I have feedback is regarding the cleanliness of the place because the floor and the stairs were not as clean as I would like but the place was great, the communication with the host was easy and he helped us with everything we needed.
The apartment was clean, cute, and comfortable. It’s a basement unit with a small kitchen, but a spacious living and dining area. The queen-size bed was comfortable, there was good closet space, and having two bathrooms with great showers was a big plus. We felt safe, and the location was ideal—very close to Greenpoint, where we were visiting family daily, which made it perfect for our stay. Subway access is nearby, and while there is an overhead train you can hear at first, we quickly got used to it.
The main downside was communication. Check-in instructions were not provided until the day of arrival, and a question we had wasn’t answered until later that evening, which was stressful. VRBO customer service was excellent and very supportive. Overall, the apartment itself was nice, but earlier communication would have improved the experience.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
This is a bait and switch scam. It is a shame that Expedia/Vrbo even allowed such listing to exist.
Booking, payment and confirmation were made weeks ahead. On the day of arrival, we found the unit is under full remodel construction and covered by trash and dust through out. Called manager and was offered a much smaller less functional unit. Checked reviews of the new unit, saw other travelers treated exact same way months ago. No single message given ahead about this situation and left our family on street for almost 2 hours.
Vrbo was able to cancel and refund after I called midnight. But we had to find last second expensive hotel as substitute. Will file complaint to Expedia.
