Pictures are deceiving, location is great, parking is great which is a plus in OC. But the place is in need of major renovation. Overall it was great vacation despite the condo.

The place was cozy and cleaned except for minor things that can be checked before renting to the next tenant. We found dirty woman bathing suits left in the closet and men swimsuits and brush. The bunk stair was broken and the shower inside curtains needed washing. Pink staining on a shower curtain which is commonly caused by the bacteria Serratia marcescens.Towel rack in the master bedroom was broken and was left on the side of the bathroom sink. The washing machine was moldy and the shower pressure was terrible. The host got mad at me when I didn’t text right away. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Great Beach Base

Very comfortable location right on the beach with space as advertised. Porch was nice to sit on, easy walk to the beach, and food nearby. Only spme very minor issues that were easily worked out with the host, who was easy to reach and provided good additional info. Cabinets are all laveled with contents and light switches all labeled which was nice. Could benefit from a locarion binder with the chrck in chrck out stuff, local recommendations and reminders to take the covers off the AC units before using them, map to the dumpsters, etc. All easy and obvious stuff for most but would round out the experience.

I couldnt be more upset with this stay. Let me list the reasons why.No toilet paper included with stay. Whatever is there is there.Bathroom shower is gross. Floor needs to be scrubbed. New shower liner wouldnt hurt. Rust everywhere. Shower drains are gross.The bed was soooooo flimsy. The bunk bed ladder was broken as well. A simple screw could fix this. Check out states 11am.. cleaning girl shows up at 10:10 asking us to leave the door unlocked (shady) no thanks. She also stated check out was at 10am when the listing says 11am. We felt very rushed, esp when she sat RIGHT outside the door with her cleaning basket.
