Designed with exacting attention to detail, this home was curated to pamper you, your friends, and your family during your visit.

The designer kitchen is a highlight, boasting elegant Quartzite counters and a feature gas range, perfect for preparing meals. Each bedroom offers a gorgeous en suite with ceramic tile, providing a private retreat for guests.

There are many bus lines that should take you very near our house; We're centrally located; by car, we're approximately 3 minutes from I-85 or NC-147, or an easy walk / Lyft / Uber ride downtown.

• Entertainment: For your entertainment, we provide a Smart TV. You can easily log into your personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu accounts.

• Live TV: While we have 'cut the cord' on traditional cable, we offer YouTubeTV, which provides a wide selection of live and on-demand channels, functioning much like a standard cable service.



Interaction with Guests:

We respect our guests' privacy and offer a seamless self-check-in experience. While we will not be present at the property, we are readily available via the app or by phone should you need any assistance or local recommendations during your stay.

This was our second time staying in this lovely bungalow near Duke. We love this little house!It is located about a mile from Duke Gardens, Duke Central Campus, and Duke Hospital. It's even closer to downtown Durham.It is charmingly decorated in neutral tones. There are two spacious bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms (and an additional guest bath). The beds are comfortable, and the hot water is plentiful.Be sure to bring your Prime Video and Netflix login information as you can access your accounts through the smart TV in the living room. The kitchen is large, open and brightly lighted. While it comes with items not found in many VRBOs - electric mixer, Ninja blender and processor, toaster, the kitchen is lacking in regular cooking pots and pans with only one saucepan and two frypans. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, you should be prepared to bring/purchase your own cookware.The hosts provide an incredible amount of timely information prior to check-in - like where the best dining & shopping locations are found - and prior to check-out.We definitely plan to stay here any time we return to Durham.

This is such a great home! Before arriving, we received a list of local businesses to try such as restaurants, bars, shops, etc. which was so helpful. Upon arriving, we were instantly pleased with the home. It is decorated beautifully, is very clean, and it provided everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. The neighborhood feels safe and is extremely close to Duke University (which was the reason for our visit). The host was responsive and super friendly. Check in and check out was easy. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We loved this wonderful little bungalow! In fact, we are staying here again as soon as we can.If you are unfortunate enough to have to travel to Duke Hospital, this little house may make your trip a little better! It is very close to the hospital and the Duke campus. It is beautifully decorated and offers a wonderful home-away-from-home base.The living room is comfortable with a Smart TV offering many viewing options. The kitchen is large and is the best-lighted kitchen I have encountered in a long time.If you plan to do a lot of cooking, be aware that there is only one saucepan, one skillet and another shallow frypan. And there are zero spices, oils, etc. You will need to plan to provide those for yourself. (The only exception is the ground coffee, sugar and creamer provided for your coffee.)The bedrooms are large and each has its own en suite bathroom - one with a tub/shower, the other with a walk-in shower. The beds and pillows are comfortable.We travel a lot and stay at a lot of VRBOs. This one ranks as one of our favorites!

I enjoyed our stay at the Duke West Bungalow. Wonderfully comfortable. The location is strategically located near Duke campus and downtown Durham. It made getting to athletic events ( or any other campus activities) a snap. If plans include dinner in Durham downtown and Bright leaf square you have quick access. We had everything needed for a great stay except for TV and InternetIt was a let down to find no internet and no TV available. Apparently AT&T failed to fix a problem which had been noted discovered. One needs to count on such services being available when we all inevitably do work remotely.
