What a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of life. So peaceful! The view from the hot tub was a bonus. The host was very imformative and made all the details of our stay easy. We were lucky to have some wildlife visitors during our stay too! Highly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect quaint cabin for a weekend getaway from the DC area. Carly and Garrett were very communicative before and during the stay (making it very easy to know exactly how to check in and check out), and provided pretty much anything you could need. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and the covered porch, and the cabin was the perfect balance of remote yet accessible (not too far from the highway). Would absolutely return and recommend!

The Mountain View was wonderful, breath taking. The hospitality was wonderful, better than any other we have stayed. It was so quiet up the mountain. Lots of rest and relaxing.

We had such a great stay! The property is beautifully renovated and was fully stocked for our stay. Hosts were incredibly communicative about check-in/out, expectations, nearby spots to visit and were quick to reply to any questions/requests. Cabin felt secluded and cozy but also was a 10 min drive from town. At the end of the day, the incredible view sitting in the hot tub or making s'mores at the fire-pit is really the highlight. Highly recommend!

Heaven in the Woods

This place was so much better than the pictures. You just can’t capture the beauty and peace you experience here. It’s a perfect place to escape and reset your soul. A perfect getaway. The hosts were also very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

A peaceful and relaxing anniversary getaway in the mountains. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine, high-quality bedding and pillows, room-by-room temperature control, and a variety of ways to enjoy the outdoor space. WiFi and phone service were great despite the remote location. Tips: access is via a long, narrow gravel road, so drive carefully. Don’t forget bug repellent — we did and couldn’t find it sold anywhere in town. A few of the amenities (hot tub, fireplace) are not necessarily intuitive to operate, but the guest book contains detailed instructions and troubleshooting.
