The property was amazing and we had a great time during our stay. The kids loved the ping pong table and the hot tub. I loved being on the river. It’s an amazing view. The only thing I would suggest would be to add more towels to the house because there was only 4. Overall great experience.
Great value - had more beds than we needed; was on the river (with a canoe!); hot tub; close to Luray and Shenandoah; had TV and games for when it rained; and even paint to decorate rocks. Bit of a wasp issue, but we worked around it.
We had a great stay at this cabin. The hot tub was clean, fully functional, and a great way to relax after a long day. The fire pit area was also excellent, easy to use, with comfortable chairs that made it a nice place to spend the evening outside.Inside the cabin, everything was clean and worked exactly as expected. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking meals during our stay. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we all slept well. The TV setup was simple and easy to use, and the WiFi was fast and reliable throughout the trip. The location was also fantastic. GPS directions led us right to the cabin without any issues, and the property is in a beautiful setting with lots of wildlife running around nearby, which made the experience even better. Overall, this was a very comfortable and well-maintained place to stay, and we would definitely come back.
Thoroughly enjoyed some peace and quiet next to the river and under some incredibly dark skies. The cabin was comfortable. Unlike some of the other reviews, I had zero issues with the WiFi, and the gravel road was in excellent condition. This is a quiet, mostly private, and peaceful retreat that’s surrounded by nature. Enjoy a fire outside while listening to the river and watching the sunset over the ridge, then wake up in the morning and sip coffee next to the river while watching the herons and ducks.
We loved the house! Lots of things to do inside. The kitchen was fully stocked and just the right size. We loved just relaxing on the porch. There was a lot of room for the dog to run outside. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the river is so close. We loved that it’s not near anything. It’s a really wonderful location!
The property was in a very nice location. We enjoyed floating on the river, canoeing, fishing and the hot tub. We had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we encountered were wasps, but the owner came and sprayed under the deck.

Thank you for staying at our cabin . We're glad you enjoyed your stay.. Insects, wasps and all sorts of bees are always a slight issue along the Shenandoah River.. with the water, fields, pastures and mountains all close, they are always around.. We strive to keep pests away and out of and around the cabins.. Thanks for letting us know about them.. Come visit again..
We had a great time relaxing by the beautiful river! Painting rocks was a bonus too. This place is a gem! Owner was very responsive to any issues we had. We will be back!

Cabin was older, needed some updating. The tv and internet service went in and out. Lots of spiders, which I don’t mind but someone else may not be comfortable with . Parts of road very bumpy. The grounds were very pretty.

Unfortunately, this is the time of year for our " spiders" aka grand daddy long legs, as we call them..They are abundant in the area, especially along the river. They are harmless and do not bite, just a nuisance for a month of fall weather before winter comes. The internet can be spotty if there are storms in the area. The incoming road is gravel/ dirt and is traveled much by guests and permanent residents. Also for businesses and farm usage. I believe thats mentioned in the description. It is in the country and there are insects about. Thank you for staying at our cabin.
