Thank you! We loved it! All of our questions were answered right away before and during the stay. The house was so clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was so well appointed with everything we could possibly need. We were tucked away in a private cove which was so peaceful, and really enjoyed spending time on the deck. We also had a wonderful time using the kayaks and paddle board exploring the lake. So convenient to the cute town and lovely walking paths too. We would absolutely go back and recommend to friends!
This house was a dream getaway. It is in a great location, just 6 minutes away from downtown Lake Orion. However, you feel like you could be hours up north at this quiet, beautiful spot on the lake. The house has been beautifully updated, and had every feature we needed for a comfortable, cozy weekend. We are so excited to come back and stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at Paddler's Paradise! We were in town for the week (myself, my husband, our two small children, and my parents) visiting family and attending a wedding. We were very comfortable in this beautifully renovated and well-maintained home. We had everything we could possibly need and appreciated that the lake was just steps away.Carrie is a great host and so easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend staying here!
No seriously, you should reserve this cottage before someone else does! The photos truly capture its rustic coziness inside and its natural serenity outside. It’s very spacious inside and you’ll be greeted with fresh fragrance upon walking in! We found all of the necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms, the beds are super comfy, the fireplace was a nice touch during the chilly nights. The Queen sized bunk beds with the pullout trundle bed was a hit with the kids, especially since each bunk has its own TV! The host was very communicative and the check in and check out process was a breeze. The area is very safe and serene. It was so relaxing to sip morning coffee on the deck while listening to the birds sing and watching the swans swim in the lake. We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in Paddler’s Paradise and we would definitely love to come back.

About the host
Hosted by Carrie M. Neal
Hi! I'm Carrie and I'm so excited to host you here at Paddler's Paradise! I am a Michigan native, and I love so many things about this state. My family and I love swimming and fishing here as well as taking our boat out for sunset cruises all summer long. While my family loves to have fun in the sun all day, one of my favorite things to here at the cottage is read by the water with a cup of coffee. Getting to share our cottage with others is a dream come true, and we can't wait for your family to make beautiful memories here.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is the perfect location on the lake. Being tucked away in a cove off of the main lake allows you to enjoy swimming and kayaking right in front of the cottage without being in the middle of the busyness that happens on the main area of the lake. It's quiet, secluded and peaceful. And when you're looking to turn up the fun, you're a five-minute ride away from the high energy fun on the main lake.
What makes this property unique
The thing that makes our cottage unique is the overall design inside. We wanted to make sure that our space felt cozy and welcoming while also feeling like you've been transported to Northern Michigan when you walk in the door.
