This home is a dream getaway. The kitchen was perfect for meal prepping and executing, the open concept allowed us all to visit while meal prepping, the showers are AMAZING! The hot tub was wonderful, the downstairs fireplace was the perfect place to end the evening with a drink and good conversation...we LOVED our stay. Thank you!

Wonderful house on the river. Plenty of space for everyone, very clean and a great place to hang out with the whole family. A great anchor spot to see some of the great things the u.p. has to offer. The resort in walking distance is also a plus.

The pictures of the house do not capture the full beauty of it, the natural light and layout of the home is amazing! The space is wonderfully utilized and it is much bigger than from what you see as you pull up the driveway. I fell in love with the natural light, high ceilings, a beautiful modern rustic theme throughout. Carrie is a phenomenal host and is there for any question or suggestion for the area! The Long Branch and 51st State are new favorites.Even with neighbors near by, you feel like you are tucked away in your own neck of the woods , the peace and quiet speaks volumes if you are going for a quiet getaway. Plenty of places to see in the area or a quiet night in with the books and games available. The hot tub is amazing as well after a day walking trails or just to continue a quiet night at home. Looking forward to returning in the near future for another for a quiet getaway and even with another family.

The house was great -- just like it looked in the pictures! Kids loved the projector and large screen in the basement, along with the pool table. Would definitely book again!

Why they chose this property

The Menominee River has always been an area that provided peace and tranquility for my family. The Forest Whisper Retreat location is even more amazing due to the close proximity to the 4 Seasons Resort. That provides access to golf, tennis, pickleball, ATV trails, kayak rental.

What makes this property unique

The home is a very unique design with lots of room for people to stay, and space for everyone to relax. The location provides peace and tranqulity, but is close to many things that can be entertaining to the entire family.
