Portside at Front Beach is newly renovated 3-family home in a historic building in the heart of Downtown Rockport. Complete with three decks with ocean views, a spacious backyard and central air conditioning it is the perfect place to bring your group.

Great for families travelling together or groups who want to spread out. Portside offers four queen bedrooms and four bathrooms over four floors. With three units that can each be rented separately, you can take your pick of where to stay (see Portside Walkabout, Portside Glimpse, and Portside Overlook). Each apartment has a kitchen, laundry and a full bathroom for each of the bedrooms.

Walk right into the ground floor one-bedroom apartment with a slider to the patio and easy access to the spacious yard. One the second floor you'll find an almost identical apartment with a small deck where you can catch a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean. The top unit on the third and fourth floors has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Take your pick of decks to relax on while you overlook downtown Rockport and Front Beach.

When you're ready for an adventure just walk a few hundred yards to beautiful Front Beach or to the shops, galleries and restaurants of downtown Rockport and Bearskin Neck.

Overall the house was fine. My main complaint is with the description stating there were 5 queen beds , but only 4 beds & a pull out sofa. I had 10 adults staying. I reached out to the renter, but only received generic text messages instead of a call back.

We stayed at Rockport for a Thanksgiving family gathering that included nine adults, a toddler and an infant. We utilize the entire space - which I think is how the place best functions. If renting only one of the units be aware there may be noise from the other units because of the vertical layout and the hardwood floors. Also, if renting one unit ask the management company to double check that your kitchen is well supplied as I suspect some equipment tends to travel from floor to floor. That being said, the units were lovely, and incredibly situated. It was a short walk for morning coffee and easy for a toddler to get to the nearby beach and park with a stroll. Communication with the managing company was outstanding. Because we were doing holiday cooking, I had a lot of questions regarding equipment in the kitchen as well as the barbecue situation. They responded to all my inquiries quickly. It was clear they went out of their way to bring in additional items so that we could create a Thanksgiving meal, including Turkey spices, serving platter, gravy boat, rolling, pin, roasting pan, etc., etc. That kindness went above and beyond in my opinion. Between the three units, the kitchens were very well outfitted. There was a small hiccup with the door codes during the check-in process, which is why I gave that only four stars. However, the management team was immediately reachable and immediately responsive and helpful.Bravo Atlantic services.
