Amazing property, perfect location!

This property is amazing, with a modern, clean (air-conditioned) guest house and a beautiful pool right off the beach. Short walk to the surf. The owners were very helpful getting us rides to/from the airport and anything else we needed. It was the perfect trip!

La saladita is a beautiful piece of paradise. We stayed for 7 nights but could have stayed longer. Casa Sonna is beautiful. It is right on the beach. The pool is amazing. We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves. The property is very clean. Fresh mangoes from the tree, you could see the surf from the house. The house is very cosy. The 2nd toilet is outside and the outside shower was handy after surfs. We booked for 5. The bed for the 5th person was on the sofa. Unfortunately the sofa was so hard that no one was able to sleep on it. So 3 had to sleep in the one bed. Very handy having a generator as the power went out with a thunder storm. A microwave would have been handy in the kitchen.

Michelle. I'm glad you found Casa Sonna to be beautiful. I'm sorry you found the sofa uncomfortable for sleeping, but many guests who have slept there thought otherwise as they enjoy a firm mattress over a soft saggy mattress. In fact, the sofa actually uses a mattress so that it actually can convert to a bed. As you know, there is toaster oven in the space, but we will consider adding a microwave.

Outstanding property, pool, amenities

We've been to saladita a couple times and this place is one of the best, if not the best. It helps that everything is brand new. Not only are the accommodations thoughtfully configured, the pool spectacular, the location ideal, the AC perfect, but this place offers some amenities that you don't think about until you need them. Like an ontap reverse osmosis for clean water in the house and down at the pool. Hugely helpful! Another big bonus if you're traveling in the wet season is the generator. The entire town was out of power when a storm came through but our place was fully powered! To top it off, Chris is a totally nice guy and very responsive. My only regret in leaving this great review is that this place is going to be harder to book in the future! One last thing, don't buy mangos at the store before you get there...there's plenty of free mangos from the trees on the property!

We had an absolute dream family vacation here! From start to finish, everything was perfect.Christopher was an incredible host—extremely responsive and always available to help, which made our stay completely stress-free.The house is brilliantly designed and located in a super quiet, peaceful area. It was immaculate, super clean, and beautifully maintained. The furniture and beds were absolutely perfect, and everything in the house functioned flawlessly!The highlights for us were definitely the incredible swimming pool and the stunning, lush vegetation surrounding the property. Despite the peaceful privacy, the location is unbeatable: perfect accessibility, close to absolutely everything, and right next to the surf spot!We highly recommend this place for a family holiday and will definitely be back.
