Everything was all prepared and beautiful. They have everything well thought out and so fun. The pans we cooked eggs in, had to be scrubbed that was tricky, not sure what pans they are but it was difficult getting them all cleaned real well. It is a beautiful welcoming house we would love to return to one day.

We Loved feeling at home with our families and kids all at the same place, this home had everything we needed with ample backyard space for the younger kids to play and let their imaginations run wild, an awesome space for the teens to hangout and plenty of relaxing area for the adults.

Lovely place while visiting Disneyland!

Everything was perfect from the host's clear instructions, the cleanliness of the cottage and what I will call the "Disney Chic" decor. The kitchen is well-appointed the host has though of everything you could possibly need. This is a great property for families! You won't be disappointed.

The Avocottage was comfortable, gorgeous and fun. My family had a wonderful experience. This place has everything, games, television, fire pit, pool, privacy. The hosts were amazing and responsive. I wish we didn't have to leave.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can’t recommend this place enough! The attention to detail throughout the home was truly impressive—everything felt thoughtfully prepared and well cared for. The house was spotless, in great condition, and incredibly comfortable. The amenities were amazing: a beautiful backyard to relax in, fun games for all ages, great coffee, well-stocked cutlery and kitchen supplies, and even kids’ accessories that made traveling with little ones so much easier. The location was also perfect—convenient and close to everything we needed. On top of all that, the host was fantastic: kind, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our stay great. This place felt like a home away from home, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Magical cottage

This home exceeded our expectations. The pictures are amazing but in person is a whole other level!! We were thrilled when we walked in the door and saw how each and every detail was thought out. When you enter each themed room, it leaves you with the most magical feeling. There is no space in this house that hasn’t been meticulously thought out. Absolute magic. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Simply AMAZING!!

If I could rate Sarah & the Avocottage 20 stars, I would! Walking into this house was like walking straight into the listing….it fit the pictures perfectly! The space was very carefully thought out. The decor was fun. The kitchen was so well stocked. This house had everything a family would need-from paper products, charging stations, linens, games, to coffee supplies, etc….there was not a detail left unthought of. We had 7 people stay with us & we had more than enough space! Sarah was a great communicator & was super helpful when the firepit needed a propane refill! We had a WONDERFUL stay & I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting SoCal!

This house is so much fun! I can’t say enough great things about it. Sarah was an absolutely amazing host! It’s everything a large family or group would need and want! We traveled with 7 adults and 4 children ages 1-9. The kids’ bedroom was perfect with the bunks and trundle bed. The house also has a small crib that was perfect for our youngest grandchild. The backyard is a haven for the kids and “big” kids. Watching movies outside, BBQing, playing in the pool, or sitting by the fire, it’s all there. The kitchen is stocked with all the pans and utensils you’ll need to make meals. A large table for everyone and a high chair. There’s even a s’mores kit available for purchase. Walmart was quick to deliver the groceries I ordered. The house is pretty close to everything, but you have to factor in traffic. Even still, you’re only 30 minutes or less from beaches, Disneyland, museums, etc. There’s so much to say about this house. The cottage even has two spaces with their own entrance for privacy. It really was the perfect place to spend our first big family vacation together. Our next trip to California will definitely be spent in a Bamboo Dwelling .
