Very cute, cozy cabin with a great outdoor space! The decor was amazing - we spent hours looking at all the different items and books on the walls. Kitchen was well-equipped and the cabin was clean. Will be back!

Stay was as expected. We loved the aesthetic and coziness of the cabin. Despite l the heatwave my partner and I made the most of it. Great location and a beautiful view. The host was easy to get ahold of we had any needs. Overall, will be booking again in the future.

The cabin was interesting, with lots of books and small items that kept the kids fascinated. The deck was amazing and the best spot for sure. The bathroom had welcome robes, which we thought was a nice touch. We also very much appreciate the water filter in the fridge prefilled with cold water! The weekend we were there was during a heatwave, and without A/C or a fan, it was uncomfortable. There is a fan in the living room, but having a couple of portable ones in the bedrooms would be great. Check-in/check-out was smooth.

The cabin was great . The parking for us was a nightmare. We are two ladies 72 and 84 years old. In the parking space at the top of the steep driveway we couldn’t turn the car around to go down we had to back down a very steep and narrow driveway. When we left to get out we had to walk down that steep driveway to get to the car. And when we left we had the carry all our belongings down the driveway 3 times in total in order to leave. We weren’t told that the cabin was up another hill with stone steps with no hand rails. My friend who had leg and back issues almost fell twice. It was stressful as we were not told nor saw a picture . It is not a place for elderly folks. I think driveway issues should be presented or pictured at the time it is booked. The wood shed which had plenty of great wood was also at the bottom of the stairs up to the cabin snd hard to get too. Maybe stacked next to the front door would probably help!! Everything else was perfect! It’s just not for older folks.

There’s a picture of the driveway in the listing and, yes, you must know how to back down. I am sorry that you struggled with the stairs. The loft circular stairs to the loft are also described, and I assumed guests would know they would need to manage stairs. Thank you for your review to make those things clear!

It was an amazing getaway!A wonderful, cozy home with an interesting history. A quiet place where you can truly recharge. The house felt like a small museum, where everything has meaning. There were many interesting books and board games, and everything we needed was provided.Just one small note: Wi-Fi would have been helpful, because even though we wanted to disconnect, some work matters still required being online do - but this was not critical at all.Thank you for a fantastic stay! We will definitely come back and will gladly recommend your cozy cabin.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The living room is filled with light from the wall of windows, and it has a very comfy sofa and pair of armchairs. It's a great place to read or hang out. The deck is also perfect, with a beautiful forest view, two comfy lounge chairs, and a picnic table. The kitchen is well stocked, and we appreciated the ground coffee in the fridge. The cabin and its surroundings are very quiet. There is a nice market down the hill and a cafe (Zoe) just across the highway. Here are a few things to know ahead of time. The driveway is long and steep, with a smallish flat space at the top for parking. We had to do a lot of maneuvering to turn our car around at the top, but we got better with practice. Also, we knew that there would be no wi-fi (we brought plenty of books!), but we didn't realize that our cellular service (Verizon) would have poor coverage; we had one bar most of the time. The people at Zoe Coffee House confirmed that it wasn't just us, and luckily they have wi-fi and a EV Connect 4.8kw charger nearby. There is also a 50kw CCS charger at a Chevy dealership in Jamestown. We were visiting this area to do day hikes in Emigrant Wilderness. The cabin gave us good access to the trailheads and a nice place to come home to.

great cute little cabin in a great location for trips to Twaine Harte, Black Oak Casino, Pinecrest Lake for the day. Owner even let us check in early which was so nice. Cabin was delightfully decorated, little knick Knacks everywhere, fun to explore. No A/C which wasn’t a big deal as the weekend was pleasant, but just be aware. Also, the neighbors to the west side felt a little close. not a big deal if we had A/C and could shut the windows, but with no A/C had to keep them open. Little less privacy / solitude than we were expecting but it was still a fun trip. have a backup camera for the driveway really helps. it’s steep. Night was really pleasant and had a great time :)
