The host was very responsive and helpful. The condo was well appointed and very comfortable, with its location being ideal. Highly recommend and would stay again.
The place was absolutely fantastic -- as soon as we walked in, we all agreed that it was great and the perfect place for Vermont. Plus, it was clean, well-cared-for and charming. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had we had, and she provided a book with local recommendations. If you're traveling to Waterbury or Stowe, do yourself a favor and book this one!
As pictured, the main unit within the barn had everything we needed for a long weekend. It was clean and well-stocked, and very comfortable for two of us. Although on the main road it was set back enough to feel semi private. Perfect location for skiing. Would definitely stay there again.
Everything was very clean and recently updated. Plenty of parking. Close drive to stowe for skiing and boarding. Will be back next time in the area if available. Only complaint was the hottub water was low.

About the host
Hosted by Dorian
My family fell in love with Vermont when both of our kids chose to attend universities there. What started as weekend trips to visit them turned into a deep appreciation for everything this incredible state has to offer: the mountains, the trails, the craft breweries, and the warmth of the communities here. When we discovered this historic 1790s barn in Waterbury Center, we knew it was something special worth sharing with others. As a host, my goal is to give every guest that same feeling we had when we first explored the area, like a local insider showing you the best Vermont has to offer. Whether you're here for skiing, fall foliage, hiking, or to unwind, we put genuine care into every detail of your stay.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it offers everything we love about Vermont in one spot—natural beauty, cozy charm, and easy access to all the best local experiences. It’s nestled just off scenic Route 100, giving you peaceful surroundings without feeling remote. That balance is rare, and it’s what drew us in right away.
The scene here is calm and inviting. Guests often mention how relaxing it feels the moment they arrive—quiet mornings with birdsong, clean mountain air, and evenings spent soaking in the hot tub under the stars. We’re minutes from both downtown Stowe and Waterbury and only 30 minutes to Burlington and 20 minutes to Montpelier, so it’s incredibly convenient for skiing, hiking, exploring breweries, or grabbing coffee and charcuterie from local favorites like Red Barn or Salt & Rind.
We love that the neighborhood makes every season feel magical.
Fall brings brilliant foliage right outside the windows.
Winter offers snow-covered views and easy access to the slopes (without steep, winding roads).
Spring and summer mean farmers markets, trails, and peaceful walks.
Whether our guests come to celebrate an anniversary, enjoy a girls' trip, or simply take a break from everyday life, the neighborhood delivers a sense of calm, connection, and adventure—often all in the same weekend.
This area continues to feel like a hidden gem, and we’re always grateful to share it with others.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is the way it blends boutique-style comfort with the charm of a peaceful Vermont escape—something our guests consistently mention.
It’s not just the hot tub under the stars, the cozy king bed, or the modern finishes (though those are favorites). It’s how everything feels thoughtfully curated—from the coffee and hand-picked board games to the calming ambiance and personal touches that make guests feel instantly at home.
We’ve had couples get engaged here, celebrate anniversaries and honeymoons, and return for annual ski trips. Guests love that it ’s easy to get to—no winding mountain roads—yet still feels like a true getaway. You can be on the slopes of Stowe or sipping a cider in town in under 15 minutes, then return to a quiet space that’s warm, welcoming, and private.
The space itself is part of a beautifully converted barn, with a layout designed for rest, reconnection, and simple pleasures. Whether it’s lighting the candles for a cozy night in, unwinding after a hike, or toasting to a special occasion, the setting feels intimate in a way that’s hard to find.
