Oakwood Cottage was exactly as advertised. Our dogs loved the turf yard and we were able to practice our putting skills. Would definitely stay here again.

Was described as one bathroom, but there are two. Nice to have one room that was able to be used as an office for remote work! Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, etc so I was able to bake Christmas cookies. Only thing missing was a handheld electric mixer, so had to cream butter and sugar by hand, but we made it work.

We stayed here for an event downtown. Check-in was very easy and the host communicated well. This house was in a good location for downtown events, about a mile. The house was extremely clean when we arrived, like spotless. Whoever is cleaning this place deserves 5 stars. The backyard was nice because we had dogs. Also it was great this property allowed 3 dogs as we always have difficulty traveling with 3 dogs. The main negative though was the smell in the house. Obviously this is a flip and it is one of the better flips I have seen but there is a lingering smell. There are air purifiers in most rooms but they don't really seem to be helping. There are parts of the floor that are uneven when walking and soft. Also the host did not disclose the security camera in the backyard. I understand wanting to have a camera but they should be disclosed. The backyard was where we wanted to spend time and it felt weird that there was a camera watching us.

Beautiful home located minutes from downtown Raleigh and the State Capitol. Close to all the excitement of Glenwood Ave (lots of bars/restaurants). Home is completely renovated with first class amenities and modern design trends. Putting green in the back is a great idea, tons of fun. Host was extremely quick with communications and the welcome gift was a very thoughtful surprise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the charming property. Its proximity to my daughter’s NC State apartment was particularly convenient.
