This property is beautiful!!! Very clean. Good communication with the host. We had such a good time! We even played kickball in blow up costumes in the front yard!
House was clean and we loved the location! Very responsive and helpful host! Plenty of room for 2 families with kids (there were 8 of us and could have slept more.) Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time here! The lake is beautiful and relaxing, and the house is perfect for a family or two - plenty of room to spread out and also to be together. The layout is perfect and the easy access to the boathouse is SO wonderful. We loved our weekend here and hope to return again next summer!

Walking straight out to the boathouse with no steps is the best! We hope to see you next summer.
Green Acres was the perfect stay! We had two small families and it was the best setup. We loved spending time on the boat house and it was a nice quiet part of the lake. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The parking was very easy compared to other properties in the area. We enjoyed a hike to Angel Falls right from the house. We would definitely stay her again.

I'm so glad y'all had a great time! Angel Falls is a must-hike. For your next visit, be sure to check out Minnehaha Falls, which is about a mile away. Have a great summer.
Our family had an amazing stay at this lakefront property. The views are gorgeous with the lake just steps away! The house is spacious while also allowing our family the ability to spend quality time together. My father who has mobility issues was able to get around easily and even enjoy the boathouse. Memories were made during our visit including my uncle getting on the water in 20 years. Billy was very responsive with any questions we had prior/during our visit.

Thank you, Kendra! Laura and I are happy your family had a great stay, and thanks for sharing the amazing news about your uncle!
My wife and I took our three grandchildren to Lake Rabun (our first trip there) and could not have been happier with the Green Acres house. The layout of the house was perfect: the master bedroom was very private and spacious, and the 3 other bedrooms worked perfectly for our grandchildren.. The house was clean and well located; and although there were other lake houses nearby, there was a sense of privacy. Bear Gap Outfitters was so close to the house, that when we rented kayaks and a paddle board, we could simply paddle back to the house. We would not change a thing -- except to extend our stay!
My overall impression is that everything about this house is easy. There is spacious paved drive for parking and minimal steps into the house, so arrival and unpacking is easy. The house is very spacious, the air conditioning works great, and there is a full size washer and dryer just off the kitchen—as well as a substantial pantry which more than makes up for slightly smaller kitchen cabinets. The kitchen is extremely well supplied with good quality pots and pans, serving items, and lots Tupperware. It was easy to cook for a big group. Outside, everything was easy too—it was a level walk to top of boathouse, lots of covered and uncovered space up there so you could get as much sun as you wanted. It is in a narrower/shallower part of the lake but still reasonably easy to get a boat in and out if you follow the instructions provided by the owner. One nice addition outside might be a few chaise lounges in addition to the regular chairs and picnic benches. There is also a nice swing which everyone enjoyed! There were plenty of bath towels, the linens on the beds (especially the king bedroom!) were very nice, and there were some cozy blankets for people that visit during cooler months. All and all our stay was fantastic—highly recommend this rental and the very helpful/friendly owners!

The chaise lounges are now on order! Great idea. Have a great rest of your summer.
We loved Green Acres! Very clean, charming, incredibly well stocked, perfect stay for 8 of us- 2 families of 4. No surprises upon arrival- house is as advertised- even better in person! We plan to come back and rent green acres and little lakemont together with a bigger crew! Hosts are extremely thorough and responsive.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our family stayed at Green Acres to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and it was the perfect home. Very clean, clear communication, and smooth trip for families of all ages. We especially loved the convenience from the house to the boat house. Just a step away from the peaceful Narrows. Our family has been coming to Lake Rabun for many, many generations and we will certainly book this house again in the future. Many thanks!
Great house and great host. We loved this spot on the lake. It is a bit shallow and the boat slips are fully occupied, we tied up our boat to the side dock and made due. The ladder / ingress and egress out of the water could be improved, it's not for grandma, the bottom rung is fairly near to the surface and a very vertical ladder with minimal hand holds. Great house though, lovely top deck.
