Beautiful and unique lakefront home on the most desirable part of Lake Rabun! Situated near the dam, Hall's marina, the pavilion, historic Lakemont and fabulous restaurants. Home features 3 master bedrooms each with a king bed and lake views (one also has a twin daybed), a cozy bunk room for 4, and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. There are 4 1/2 large bathrooms, including oversized jacuzzi & steam shower in top floor master. Newer construction with high ceilings, modern appliances, and amazing lake front and mountain views! The house is nestled very close to the shore with easy access ! Drive right up to the front door to unload, and walk out from the terrace level directly into the spacious, 2 story covered boathouse! Enjoy cool mountain air and gentle breezes from 2 wrap around porches! Relax in the hammock, porch swing, or dive off the top floor of the boathouse into deep water. Play ping-pong, pool, air-hockey, arcade style basketball, chess, dominoes, and countless other board games in the fully equipped playroom! Splash around the lake with our tandem & single kayaks, paddle-board, blue water-mat, inflatable towables, wakeboards, skis and many other lake toys (we have water toys and life vests for all sizes!). Boat rentals are available in the area and there is plenty of room to park alongside the dock. A perfect escape for families!

Less than one and half hours from Atlanta and just 15-20 minutes to charming downtown Clayton. World class hiking, golfing, white water rafting & zip lines nearby!

We spent Thanksgiving at this property and really enjoyed every minute! The kids had their "zone" in the playroom area and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house was super comfortable, and the pool table was a hit. The host Scott was available for a few questions and responded promptly. Only downside was that the boat wasn't working while we were there, but the kids kayaked & paddle boarded on the lake. We will definitely be recommending this to friends & family! Thanks for the memories!

Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this property. The location is fantastic, and the house has plenty of room to spread out. We had 8 adults and 4 kids and never felt cramped. We rented a pontoon for the week, which made for an awesome lake vacation.A few things could be improved. First, the driveway should be mentioned in the listing. It is extremely steep and can be intimidating, especially if another vehicle is coming the opposite direction.The house could also use a deep cleaning and a little TLC. The TVs are very outdated, and the one in the downstairs bedroom is barely watchable because of the defect lines across the screen. Normally this wouldn't matter much at a lake house, but we had rain on and off all week and ended up spending more time indoors than expected.The boathouse also needs some attention. The refrigerator was pretty dirty, and none of the regular lights worked—only the string lights plugged into a power strip. Our kids were also disappointed that there wasn't a lily pad, as one is shown in the listing photos.None of these issues ruined our trip. The home has a great layout, an unbeatable location, and with a little maintenance, a good cleaning, and a few updates, it could easily be a five-star rental.

family fun at the lake

Gorgeous house with everything you need to have a great time at the lake. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and the beds are comfortable. Amazing shower in the master. Great game room with pool table, pink pong, basketball, games, tv, netflix etc. We had planned to do some hiking and exploring but there was so much to do that we spent all of our time at the house or on the water. College aged kids and hubby loved diving and jumping off the top floor of the boat house, paddle boarding and kayaking. Oldest daughter and grand daughter loved the kayak and swimming. We rented a boat. The owners were kind enough to allow us to use their water skis, wakeboard and tubes. Scott one of the owners was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Security deposit seemed steep but was all returned soon after our visit so no worries. I highly recommend this property and hope to return here in the future. It is a place our entire family was able to enjoy.

Fabulous lake house!

We had a great time at Scotts house! The house had plenty of room for our family, the game room in the basement provided extra entertainment, so many lake toys to use (kayaks, paddleboard, blue floating mat. The location was so nice too because it's at one end of the lake and allowed the kids to go kayak and paddleboard without much boat traffic. We would highly recommend!

The house and lake make for a dream vacation. We were a large family. The house is very large and comfortable. You cannot possibly feel cramped. It was clean upon arrival and check in could not have been easier. The owner was available throughout the stay for any questions. In addition, he sent us information about the house and suggestions on activities in the area. The surrounding area is beautiful. It was an unforgettable family vacation. I would give this property 10 stars if possible.

Birthday stay was perfect

Scott and family. Your house was PERFECT for my monumental birthday celebration. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom plus extra space to eat , relax and play games. The best part of your home was the boat house. We stayed out there every day as the space lent itself to entertaining our friends and family. Having a full size refrigerator was perfect and kept all our food handy being right there. The house was very convenient to the local marina where we rented a pontoon boat for the week and having the ability to tie it up at the dock was easy. Your house was fully stocked inside and out. There were plenty of boating toys and floats. We only had to bring our towels and sunscreen. We hope this has started a family tradition of monumental birthday celebrations Sincerely, Lori and Dan Morgan

Wonderful Experience

This property was perfect for our family and nestled in a beautiful cove on Lake Raybun. The boathouse was so relaxing and the kitchen was an added bonus. The house is spacious, nicely furnished and had everything we could possibly need or want. The game room was ideal with lots to do for kids on a rainy afternoon and after a fun day on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the many lake toys that the owner made available to us as well. The owner provided great information about the house and the area and made us feel very welcome. We loved every minute and hope to return again.!

A beautiful place to create happy memories ....

Lake Rabun is a special place, and this is a perfect home from which to experience it. Views are plentiful from the large porches and the boathouse, the cove location is absolutely ideal for swimming, the game room great for nights or a rainy day and the home, while just gorgeous, is comfortable and inviting, with unique lake-living decor. Our family enjoyed this home for a week, skiing, tubing, swimming and hiking every day. Memories were created that we won't forget. Many thanks to Scott for his great communication, for his kindness in helping us with boat logistics and to him and his family for sharing their special place with others. We loved it!

We had a business retreat here with 8 Adults in Early October 2018. The bed room and bed situation was perfect. The house had ample room both for inside meeting and dinning and outside as well. We were drawn to the lake and the boat house so we had our discussions while viewing the beautiful lake. Location was great, close enough to Clayton (We ate at Clark's on Main), and the Lake Rabun hotel (we picked up dinner). We went on a nice hike and white water rafted as well. Everything worked out great.

Beautiful home right on the water!

Our family of 14 had a wonderful weekend with plenty of room to spread out. We spent most of the weekend on the dock which was literally just steps from the house. Lots of great things for the kids to do in the basement playroom and at the boat house. Scott was great to work with and we will definitely be back!
