Stayed here for a few days with a group of friends and the house was great for us! It was clean and we really enjoyed having the fireplace. Location is very convenient, only a short walk into town or to the shuttle that takes you to Okemo (weekends only).
The property was just as listed. We had a wonderful ski weekend at Okemo. The rooms are much larger than the photos show, there is a lot of space in every room! The kids loved the bunk beds & the chess board table. The home feels warm and comfortable. Having the driveway for parking was a bonus. We highly recommend Nancy’s property.
We had a wonderful time with our two kids and dog. House was perfect and far more updates than the posted pictures, which was a nice surprise. Very close to Okemo and easy to take shuttle. Walking distance to town.

Great house , warm and cozy
House was perfect for our family of 4. Warm, cozy and clean. Efficient use of space - it could fit 2 families with kids. Walking distance to the shuttle - about a block. Convenient to restaurants, shops too. Great house and location.
We stayed here with a group of 10 people and 3 cars, and I was a little worried about the space, but this house was perfect. Not only was it clean and cozy, but the host had clear instructions for everything, plenty of amenities (extra kitchen supplies, towels, blankets, etc.), and the property itself was very conveniently located on the route for the free shuttle to Okemo. We had two amazing ski days and would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location
Cute little house, more spacious than it might look. 2 min drive from Okemo. Can walk to restaurants which was nice. There's a creek that runs behind the house, we left the upstairs balcony open a bit to let the sound in.

Good location. Cozy house.
Conveniently located near the #1 shuttle and a short walk to the main street of Ludlow. The house isn't fancy, but it was clean and a great size for a family of 6 (full grown boys) and had everything we needed. Carl and Nancy were great communicators. Exactly what we expected for the price.
House was super clean and a great place for anyone looking to ski Okemo. Only comment is nothing about the house or the owners just a caution about the bus. The Mooover Bus was far from reliable so you might want to not count on it. It was supposed to run every 30 minutes and we waited over 45 one time and it totally skipped its last run before lunch another.

Really lovely home!
Our family completely enjoyed our stay in this fantastic, warm and thoughtful home. There was more than enough space for our family and the home was very comfortable. The location is perfect for catching the shuttle to Okemo which is about a block away. The owner was communicative and quick with replies to questions ahead of our stay inclusive of restaurant recommendations which were greatly appreciated given it was our first time in Okemo. We really liked Neal's! I totally recommend staying in this home for a ski trip and can imagine it being a fantastic spot for the summer as well.
We LOVED our stay at Nancy's place in downtown Ludlow. About 5 mins drive from Okemo and walking distance to shops/restaurants downtown. House is updated and renovated with a great layout that accommodated our 2 families needs. We had 4 adults and 5 kids all together and there was plenty of room to hang out and multiple options in regards to sleeping arrangements. Beds and couches are all very comfortable and lots of space for all the winter gear that comes along when you're hitting the mountain. Nancy is a great communicator and accommodated our requests happily. It was a breeze to book and a pleasure to stay here. We will be back next year for our annual trip to Okemo.

Great in-town option for skiing Okemo
After 25+ years of staying slopeside at Okemo, we ventured into town. Perfect ski house just 5 minutes from either the main mountain or Jackson Gore. Easy walk to restaurants and Shaw's supermarket.
Worked out well for grown children on one level and parents on another. Plenty of space and two big TV screens so no arguments there. We had a great stay with ridiculous amounts of fresh powder falling from the sky. Prompt, convenient reservation process, check-in and check-out. The back porch and driveway were plowed while we skiied. Will return again!
Not a whole lot to add from other reviews. The place was as advertised -- not fancy, but comfortable and an excellent base for the Ludlow/Okemo area. We were 3 people so everyone had their own bedroom, but there are enough beds that we would have been fine with twice that many. The house is well-stocked with the basics, and it's an easy walk to Shaw's for groceries and whatnot. [Not to mention the two craft beer stores on the main street! :-) ] As noted in the listing, the parking for Okemo skiing is only a few minutes away; maybe 10 minutes further away is the trailhead for the Healdville Trail in Okemo state forest -- a 6-mile roundtrip hike that takes you to the top of the mountain from the other side than the skiing -- definitely recommended (though a bit tricky in the winter when snow and ice covered). All in all, a good stay and we would be happy to return.
First it was negative 10 degrees and the owners made us call them to remotely open the door, after the path to the doorway was not shoveled and icy. The house said pet friendly and the owner complained when we had to get in the door and the dog barked. They didn’t have an option to pay pet fees. Suddenly they’re listing then has 200 per dog so they took the liberty to charge my account. There was graffiti across the street and you couldn’t lock the door. The pillows and blankets were stinky and the landlords controlled the heat the whole time. After the snowstorm, there was no plowing and could barely get to driveway. They then said the maid is accusing us of smoking in the house when they aren’t even there. It’s legalIn their state and I found evidence of this that I threw away. This is unacceptable and a scam
So close to the mountain, cozy but plenty of space for our family of 6 plus dog. Owners are very easy to get in touch with and helpful. Highly recommended!
This is our second time staying in this awesome home - so close to town and Okemo, a short drive to other mountains, and it looks out onto a calming little stream. Highly recommend!
When no we arrived there was hair on the sheets in the master bedroom. The next day the owner arranged for new sheets. The property was clean. The bunk beds were difficult for adults to sleep on due to very poor mattresses. Overall ok stay
Not worth the money! avoid this! dirty and in disrepair
Check-in: Hair in the sink, someone else's dirty tee shirt next to the bed, no blankets on the beds, only bedspreads. Need a strong male to pull the sliding door shut as it is off track (=safety hazard). Numerous broken doors. Will not fit 12 people as advertised. The stove was clean and it did have dishes.
It was a skiing mini vacation. Stream behind house was amazing to watch.
Everything was as described. Plenty of supplies and very clean.

About the host
Hosted by Nancy Spatola
It's a vacation home that is warm and inviting where memories and milestones have been made over the years!
Why they chose this property
My husband and I purchased this home in the Ludlow area after many years of vacationing in various ski areas. We found Okemo Mt and the town of Ludlow to be a great family mountain. We love the small town atmosphere and amenities. Plus, it’s such an easy commute from anywhere.
What makes this property unique
The selling point of this home was having the Black River in its backyard. To hear the river flowing at nighttime is very tranquil and peaceful. Also, to have the ability to walk into town is unique and inviting for any age group.
