Girls weekend

We had a group of six girls away for three nights. The location was perfect… walking distance to some good restaurants and bars. Plenty of space for six of us. Property owner was easy to reach and made experience seamless. Would certainly stay here again if we are in Newport for another weekend!

Chris was very friendly when we met him at the location. He gave us some great tips on places to eat and which days we should do a reservation for. The place is in a great location and walking to places was very convenient. Uber is there as well if you wanted to travel a little further or if you want the break from walking. We did find that we could have used or brought more to use in the kitchen. The coffee maker didn't work for us, but there is a little coffee shop right down the road so that was an easy fix. If you are planning to cook more meals in, you may want to be sure you have baking sheets but everything else was supplied. My family really enjoyed our stay and if we go back to Newport we will absolutely stay here.

Perfect location to everything!

We walked to coffee, meals, the mansions and shops. No need to use your car once you arrive if you like walking. There are 2 flights of stairs in the VRBO which was no problem for us but worth noting. Best place for reasonably priced coffee was Wally's Wieners! Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels. Bring all cooking essentials like oil, butter, spices, aluminum foil etc if you plan to cook meals at the apartment. Plenty of plates, pans and utensils!

The location can’t be beat. Parking was convenient and it is close to the mansions. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the bar next door, but the condo itself was comfortable and well equipped. Owner was great with communication.

Best Spot for a Girls Weekend Out

We had the best time here! The apartment looked just like it did in the listing and having the two bathrooms was perfect for all of the girls to get ready for the night out. The beds were SO comfortable. The owner was super helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and responded quickly and professionally. He also gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. This was the perfect spot for us to get to and from downtown easily. The big, private parking lot was also great because none of us had to worry about where to put our cars. We’re already thinking about coming back for our next girls trip!

The location was perfect - except for some of the patrons at the bar across the street😂. A few electrical plugs don’t work and the TV gave us some trouble. But once we figured those things out we were good! Thank you so much for your assistance when we needed it👍🏻

Disappointed in lack of cleanliness of property. Each bed had massive amounts of dust balls under each with one having a water bottle. I would suggest hand washing any dishware used

Great location for a long weekend!

Easily walkable to local attractions, restaurants, bars, and shops. Also right near the Thames Glass Blowing studio (be sure to book in advance). Comes with private parking which is so convenient. The bedrooms were all a decent size and everyone said their bed was comfy. Shower was nice & strong! Wifi worked fine. We didn't spend much time in the unit except for sleeping & changing. Noise really wasn't an issue. Place is stocked with basics. Definitely bring your own toiletries and hangers. Owner/Manager Chris was very responsive and accommodating to early arrival (we asked if we could park a few hours prior to check-in) and gave us some local recommendations. We (4 adult women) found it fit our needs perfectly in terms of space, facilities, and location. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect space at the right price!

The photos were totally accurate of this rental and was a good amount of space for this family of 3. We each had our own bedroom and comfy beds. Was a total plus to have 1.5 baths too. Was a fairly good location at the end of Thames St away from all the shopping and business just know there is a bar across the street that goes late with music but luckily the bedrooms are at the back of the apartment. This is a bare essentials unit, so be sure to bring your own shampoo/bar soap/DW detergent/cleaner, etc. We didnt realize it wasn't stocked like other VRBOs but popped down to the gas station store a block away and filled up. That being said, we were happy to stock up as this unit was HALF THE PRICE of others we looked at. Yes, it's not fancy but HALF THE PRICE people! The owner Chris was totally awesome in communication and helpful with places to eat and things to do. Bonus, there is a HUGE parking lot all to yourself to fit multiple cars. We loved walking everywhere to the shops, restaurants and mansions. When it rained we easily got an Uber. Highly recommend!

This stay was great- the place was spotless, the rooms spacious and the sheets soft as silk. As far as location you can’t beat it- at the end of the action so it was quiet but walkable to everything. Chris was super responsive and had great recommendations for our stay. Oh, and parking! Would definitely book again.

Girls weekend

We had a great time this past weekend in Newport! Check-in, communication, location and parking were awesome! The apartment was spacious for 4 adult women too and the beds were comfy. The apartment could have been cleaner and could use a couple things to make it cozier like lamps , and curtains. It was cold and rainy the weekend of our stay so we spent time in the apartment. Great location and price!
