Welcome to our Family Lakehouse! Settle into this spacious 5 Bedroom/ 3 Full Bathroom Lake House for friends & family fun with picturesque sunset views. Great house for entertaining whether inside, on the large attached deck, or down at the lake on a private dock! Enjoy some winter cheer cozied up by the stone fireplace with a good book. Perfect location for those who love to ski or snow board. Super close to Song Mountain or Labrador Mountain! Or plan ahead for next summer lake fun with 100 feet of private beach. We have a large dock and gazebo with great access to swimming, boating, fishing, or just relaxing:). Reserve a week in the summer at our Skaneateles Lake House today and make memories tomorrow!

Great spot in Skaneateles

Traveled to be in Syracuse for a family event and wanted to stay in Skaneateles. This was our second stay ant this house, and the home and location is wonderful!

Cozy family home ideal for enjoying the lake and town

The property has a lovely view of the lake with a seating area and dock. The house has a homey feel. I enjoyed the fact that the bedrooms were separated from each other. My family and I had a lovely stay and made lifelong memories.

Perfect for us.

So much to do, swimming, boating, fishing, and just hanging on the dock. Visiting the village is always great. Quiet and peaceful.

ABOVE AND BEYOND

Beautiful property much larger than anticipated with plenty of room to spread out. We were so impressed with the attention to every detail! Brian and Melissa were very thoughtful, even to the extent of puttung up a fully decorated Christmas tree! We met Brian during our stay, and he could not have been nicer! Perfect group retreat on Lake

We stayed for a family wedding and the home was perfect for what we needed. Spacious, comfortable, clean and a great location just a few minutes drive into town. We stayed in the winter but could see how this location on the lake would be even better in the summer time. The hosts were communicative and easy to work with.

Lovely Lake House

The location was key- both close to the town center and right on the lake. We had fun on the lake using the kayaks and spent time at night with the fire pit. My family had a really great time!

Family Reunion at Skaneateles Lake

Home is rustic, spacious and has nice dock on lake. Interior is very outdated but we weren’t there to hang out inside. It was great for family reunion as we all had space and could spend time together. No air conditioning. Very easy to rent and check in- we would go back again.

Great stay with a beautiful setting!

This home was perfect for our annual sisters weekend! Comfortable with lots of space and character. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed, the beds were comfy and the first floor bedroom with ensuite was perfect for our mom for whom stairs are tricky. The owner was responsive, friendly and flexible.

Perfect family stay on the lake

My family rented this property over Labor Day weekend and had the best time! The house was clean and furnished very nicely, as well as great access to the lake! We rented a boat and spent the days on the lake, had dinners on the back deck, watched the sunset, and then spent evenings around the fire pit. This house was perfect space-wise for the accommodations of 10 adults, and I would highly recommend this rental for a carefree and enjoyable stay on the lake.

Wedding Weekend

We stayed at this home while attending a nearby wedding. It was roomy enough for the 10 family members. The house was clean and very comfortable. The view of the lake was great. Didn't make use of the outside area due to the weather in November. We would stay here again.

Great Location on Skaneatles Lake

The 5 bedroom house with bedrooms on both sides and living areas in the middle provided room for several families in our group. Outdoor deck with umbrella and table was perfect for eating and relaxing. Lakeside dock area was relaxing. The beds could use a mattress upgrade, too soft for several of us. The house is roomy and dining areas accommodate a large group.

great family getaway

Spacious and cozy. The view is speculator. We were there near Christmas time and they even had a Christmas tree, Lots to do in town, If you go in December check out the Dickens Theatrics. Everything you need is in the house. Plenty of towels and kitchen needs, The owner is quick to respond and helpful, We have stayed there a coupke times and plan to return. Enjoy your stay!

Ok 2 day get away

The good - very large house - 5 bedroom, large kitchen, dining room and living room. Very clean inside. Good sized yard with direct access to lake via short stairway. Beautiful water for swimming The bad - house furnishings are dated and place has musty smell. Yard is not maintained - grill dirty, food and beverage litter around and about. Kayaks and paddle boats broken.

Wonderful stay with friends & family!

We stayed 5 days at the lake house. We hosted two parties with friends and family. We were concerned about parking (There is only two spaces at the lake house), but we did make it work with some parking up the hill. The house was very large. It was very hot that week so we appreciated the air conditioning in the master bedroom. The dock was wonderful. We could not rent a boat because the lake was too high, but we hope to next year. The only con was that I wish there was more utensils and bowls for entertaining. Thanks for a great time!

Attending Family Wedding

The location of the property is great and the host is very nice. The house itself is nice but furniture is very old and not updated, especially in the livingroom. The couches are uncomfortable. I think they should consider doing a little bit of facelift in the livingroom area. The TV was not good either. We could not gather in the livingroom and watch sports. Since it was winter and cold outside, activities were limited. It is also 15 minutes away from town.

Good but needed some tweeking.

The house was adequate, the location, deck and the lake-front were wonderful. Our stay was enjoyable. There were serious electrical problems in the Master Suite; the bathroom vanity lights and the only outlet did not work. The owner was notified, but there was no repair. The cupboards and storage areas needed a serious cleaning out; there were old canned goods and packaged foods as well as left-over items from previous guests. A set of written instructions would have been helpful.

Do not recommend

We had issues with the cleanliness of the property. There were clothing garments left behind from the previous renters (underwear and bathing suits) and there were live bugs in one of the bedrooms (including on the bed). The entire house needs an upgrade in general. Most of the water equipment was broken and the hammock was also broken. The place overall felt icky and quite dated. Also, there is no central AC. There is 2 window units in the house, but majority of the rooms do not have AC.
