The farm has more than 70 years operating. Since the beginning of the 19th century the Quesada family has been in the agriculture & cattle business offering the Central American market premium products with a sustainable vision. This ensures that the land will be passed through generations maintaining the same fertility and quality of its beginnings.
The ranch villa was always the main family house for the Quesada family.

The Villa has been upgraded and modernized in the last years so to keep the feeling of an outdoor farm house that with all the features that a city house has to make sure you can continue your day to day with the slight difference of being in a privileged location. Newest addition: YOGA DECK!
Plants In The gardens have been meticulously selected to have the perfect combination between an ornamental and an edible organic garden surrounded by fruit trees.

My goodness- where to start. This is a magical place. So much so we changed out plans and extended our stay by a night. It made it hard to leave to see the sites in the area. The house is lovely cared for, the beds are very comfortable and outdoor living spacings and pool/spa are perfect and the grounds are stunning. Yadi cooked most breakfasts and dinners for our large family which allowed more time for us to connect and enjoy as family. We hope to find a reason to return. Do not hesitate to book.

WONDERFUL property! Large home with tons of privacy. We had a group of 7 adult family members and there was room for more! Great amenities, welcoming staff, yard was FULL of fruit trees and flowers! We had Armita BBQ a dinner for us and it was fantastic! We were treated to a garden tour by Joaquin and he cut down fresh coconuts and served them to us with a straw! It was MAGICAL!

Very peaceful and beautiful. All the staff was great! Jordy was extremely helpful in setting up our excursions. You must have meals prepared by Yadi and Estella. Joaquin the grounds keeper was so sweet bringing us fresh coconut water and fruit off the property trees. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing house, more space than we could even use, the host team was great, and the home cooked dinners and breakfasts (arranged with Yadi, the amazing woman who lives in a separate home on the property) were the best food we had in CR. The place was spotless, perfect, and a very easy ten minute drive to everything in Fortuna. Loves it.

Beautiful and Welcoming Villa

This villa is absolutely amazing. The outside patio and pool area is so large and beautifully done. Super fun to walk around the property and see the different plants and wildlife.The inside stays nice and cool. It was extremely comfortable and welcoming.Our added on dinner was fantastic! Absolutely beautiful property. Close enough to the small take of El Tanque to walk over to the grocery/fruit/meat markets, but large enough and secluded enough to feel like you're truly in the jungle. Staff was always ready to help, especially the gardener who was very friendly. Highly recommend you take him up on his small "tour" of the property (some small amount of Spanish fluency will be helpful here). Saw tons of birds, lizards, etc on the property. Pool and hot tub were delightful after a full day of activities in the surrounding areas.Overall we had a great stay and loved the property. Highly recomend.

Lovey house with beautiful grounds

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The back of house opens to the wonderful grounds and pool. It was a perfect place for relaxing after a busy sightseeing day. The activities and drivers provided by the concierge Jordy were great.

The house, property and staff were great. Amazing house with plenty of room for the family (6 people). Everyone loved the pool, hot tub, outside area and short walk to El Tanque's downtown. Downtown had a couple of grocery stores, bakeries and restaurant. Plus a short drive to La Fortuna.

We loved this place!

We had the best time at the villa. Yadi cooked the most amazing meals, Joaquin took some of our group on a tour of the grounds but on top of that he always seemed to appear right when we needed something, anticipating our every thought. We truly have no complaints, this was the perfect location and experience for our group of 8 adults.

Since 2010 he has been collecting and planting endangered wood trees and planting them around the farm more than 2 thousand documented in 2016-2017.

Rocio, Jorge’s mom has made sure décor in the house exhibits the culture and tradition of the area. Plants In The gardens have been meticulously selected to have the perfect combination between an ornamental and an edible organic garden surrounded by fruit trees.

What makes this property unique

We are proud to include in your booking your own private English speaking concierge who will be available to book your transport, activities, and answer any question you may have of the area.

Guests are able to access all of the house except for some storage areas of personal belongings.

Staff will give you the privacy you want and the service you need. We have a full-time chef which is included when renting the property.
