About this property

Stanley Chalet

We just gave this cute mountain home a brand new face lift. It's light filled and lovely with new everything inside. It's especially beautiful and cozy in winter, and of course summer is spectacular.

There is a full kitchen, laundry, and two full bathrooms, one of which is en suite in the master. The master bed is king size.

The bunkroom has two nice, sturdy full-size bunkbeds, so can technically sleep 8, because there are 4 double beds.

The living room has a big couch, TV and fire place.

There is a large grassy yard with picnic table, BBQ, pingpong, fire pit and deck with lounge furniture to enjoy the outdoors.

Host was very accommodating. Beds were very cozy. It comfortably accommodated 9 people. Kitchen well stocked but a griddle would be nice. Over all cleanliness could be improved. Could use a deep cleaning under beds and couches. The map on VRBO app was not correct. It shows the house on the north side of hwy. Not until we got the check in directions did we see it was on Wall Street. That was a little disappointing. The fireplace as wonderful though!

We loved our stay in Stanley. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was great. It’s right in the middle of town and a short walk up to a great view of the surrounding mountains. We appreciated the washer and dryer, the well-stocked kitchen, and the comfy mattresses.

The house is situated right in town which makes for easy walking around to everything. Customers at the local businesses made it difficult at times for extended privacy on the property. The house was very clean and spacious enough for our crew to hang out, eat and enjoy the company even on very wet weekend.

Hi Jason, I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay! Privacy is usually not an issue since I have a 6 foot fence around the property and so usually it feels like a little oasis in the center of Stanley! I know on weekend nights you can sometimes hear the live music down the street if that’s what you were talking about?

Great 2 bedroom 2 bath next to Stanley Bakery, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and supplies, nice outdoor seating areas, with a firepit and ping pong table. Primary bedroom had a new shower and toilet closet in the room. Other bathroom is off the large laundry room. Gas fireplace, nice table that seats 10. Decor and vibe was fun!

Great location in town. The common rooms were excellent for our group and the interior pictures are accurate. The beds were very comfortable. We were surprised that one bathroom was within the king bed room but it worked well. We really enjoyed our stay.
