Beautiful home

This home is tastefully appointed,every possible appliance all are brand new. Back patio is private and comfy! Beds and linens are top shelf. Master bath is so beautiful and large walk in shower with plenty of fluffy towels. Our family enjoyed its location close to everything and great for our stay.

House was clean I will say that! Homeowner was easily contacted and returned messages quickly until he decided to enter the property without notifying me. When we arrived the home was extremely clean but not as advertised in certain aspects. There was no longer a TV in the master. Brought that to homeowners attention and 2 day later we finally got him to install the 55” TV he advertised was in there. Have him permission to install the TV and the next day gave permission to come pick up a car and tools that were in the garage. I guess that was considered an open door to come whenever. When we returned early from a day trip sunday the homeowner was there and had not notified us. Said he was there “dropping off chairs and an umbrella for the beach” well, those chairs were in the garage the day we came, we looked for them. He did apologize for entering the home without notice. However, we were there with our 13 year old who was left sleeping off and on for me to drive my husband to do his per diem shifts in the ER or for me to run to the food store. we now had to worry if he was continuing to come and go or if he had been coming and going the whole time. There was no emergency or yard work done. No mechanical issues! the house was clean, but now we are uncomfortable. The review is being left this way because this was a direct violation of our privacy while staying and of his own house rules I have photos of how we left the property immaculate! and of our conversations

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the home extremely clean and appreciated our responsiveness during your stay. To clarify several points: the television in the master bedroom was installed during your stay at your request. We coordinated the installation with your permission and completed it as quickly as possible so you would have the advertised amenity. Regarding property access, entry into the garage occurred only under specific circumstances: (1) with your permission to install the TV, (2) with your permission to retrieve a personal vehicle and tools stored there, and (3) for necessary property-related matters including yard maintenance and routine inspections of the water heater and furnace. Chairs and a beach umbrella were also delivered as a courtesy for your use. At no time was there unauthorized entry into the living areas of the home. There was never any intent to violate your privacy. It is also important to note that requests for discounts and refunds began at the start of the reservation. When those requests were declined in accordance with the agreed booking terms, we received communication indicating that a negative review would be left unless a refund was issued. All communication occurred through the platform. We take guest privacy seriously and strive to maintain clear communication, a clean property, and adherence to platform policies at all times.
