City Cottage was perfect for our long wknd visit to Milwaukee. We would stay here again. The view was beautiful. I was not expecting that. Everywhere that we ate/drank within walking distance was amazing.

Quiet comfortable cottage great location

Very comfortable place. Great host. Close to a lot. We parked our car on the street and walked, scootered, and Lyfted most places.

Fantastic little cottage in a great location. Very well apportioned with all the amenities needed for our 7 night stay. We found the place to be very comfortable and surprisingly peaceful that has a nice vibe to it. The front porch of the cottage' sits in the backyards of the main and surrounding houses but the porch is a nice place to sit and hang out. We didn't see much of the neighbors but they are friendly and very chill. The backyard opens up to a very quiet and beautiful park along the river with amazing views of downtown. Excellent communication with the host Christian. If you're looking for a place to stay in Milwaukee River West is a great neighborhood.

We stayed in the city-view cottage for 5 days at the beginning of August 2026. It totally met our needs. Our son was back in Milwaukee for the summer and was residing north of downtown - which was about a mile from our rental. We enjoyed the view/locale, had easy access to Bubr bikes for outings, and had easy walking access to dining and beer outings. Christian was very attentive and helpful when we needed anything. Kitchen supplies were great and the bed was very comfortable and the setting was very quiet.

Quiet Little Cottage in Milwaukee

The property was very nice and we liked how quiet it was given it being in the middle of the city. Our dog loved the backyard, and that shower was top notch. Finally we liked being able to come back to a comfy spot at the end of the day.
