The condo itself was as advertised. Convenient location, comfortable bed and great shower. Hosts were very responsive. However, I based my decision to rent this unit on two factors. Number one was the view as described and photographed in the listing. Number two was very quick beach access, also described in the listing. Renters should be aware that there is now fencing, dirt piles and construction of new condos on the golf course, which impacts the view, and also the lanai now overlooks solid trees, and not the golf course and mountain views as is depicted in the listing. The construction also blocks the five minute beach walk, so be prepared for a 10 to 15 minute walk. Given my priorities, I was very disappointed. But reading the most recent reviews, other renters don’t seem to mind so if you like the look of the condo, this may work for you.

The Hideaway had great space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool that was just steps away was beautiful and not busy at all. The Turtle Bay resort was a short walk away and it was a great place to watch the sunset.

North Shore Relaxation

My wife and I had great time staying here! The beach was a short walk through the closed down portion of the golf course. We loved walking the trails. Also fun walk down to the hotel for lunches and dinner.

North Shore Beauty

We have been coming to this condo for several years. The owners are easy to communicate with and every year they have upgraded the property to make it even more comfortable. The location next to the Turtle Bay resort is fabulous for swimming, hiking, surfing and viewing wildlife.
