What a surprise when we arrived with Christmas tree and decorations put up for our family Christmas gathering after Christmas and for New Years! I can’t say enough how much we appreciated all of the special touches upon our arrival not to mention the personal tour from Jennifer. The home is beautiful with lots of space to spread out and the outdoor accommodations are fantastic. It is all super clean and well cared for. We will definitely return. Everything was just perfect. Thank you

We had a wonderful time! We were 4 couples that cruise together. The house was beautiful and was fully furnished. There was nothing missing!!!! Only thing, not in operation, was the stove downstairs. It would have been nice to have that, in working condition, but we cooked upstairs. The gas had been cut off to it, as it had caused safety issues with doors left open and pilot light being blown out. Beautiful home, great location, great host, so much to do.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing our home for your getaway. We’re glad you enjoyed the space, location, and amenities. Regarding the downstairs stove, we previously turned off the gas after an owner initiated health & safety review detected that open doors and blown‑out pilot lights could create a potential concern. For that reason, we keep it disconnected and ensure the upstairs kitchen in its entirety is available and fully equipped for guests. We truly appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear you had a great stay and ‘solid 10’ experience!

Dreamy

From booking to checkout this was an exceptional experience. Nan was communicative, kind, and helpful with any questions. The home & property are both beautiful and immaculate! All of the outdoor areas were clean and fresh, no spider webs or debris, just a relaxing enjoyable space to spend time with family. Nan went far beyond being accommodating, it felt like we were staying in the home of a friend that loved us dearly and put a lot of thought and care into making sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed, as well as a few sweet surprises. She does hospitality on a very high level, and set a new standard for a rental property. We’ve never been so pleased with a stay, and we’re thankful we got to make some sweet memories at the Grand Mamou - Caddo Lake!
