The cabin was plenty of room for our family of 4. We loved the lake and my son had a great time fishing in the kayaks. Location was perfect for us!

We are a group of 4 older gents that stay at VRBO's across northern Minnesota to enjoy fishing, golfing and hunting. This was a great location for all of those activities. Great cabin, beautiful lake and Maria is a very attentive host! Highly recommended and well equipped with everything to make your stay relaxing & enjoyable.

Beautiful lake shore log home!!! Huge-Lots of room, home in excellent condition, everything in great shape, and so clean!! Can see pride in ownership, very well taken care of. Home well stocked with amenities, all we had to do was bring in our groceries and we were set! We had no issues at all, were given detailed instructions on reaching property and how to get from road to lake house (steep driveway, but was not an issue at all!), and for home entry via keypad. Lake shore - wow! Nice dock, lake crystal clear, wish it had been summer, would have loved to go swimming off dock. Kayaks available but we did not use. Really nice fire pit overlooking lake, with a wood pile. Maria (host) ALWAYS answered my emails within the hour, if not sooner, for any questions I had, she was very helpful and very nice! My sisters and I stayed 3 nights, wish we could have stayed in this home longer. Will definitely plan on coming back in the future!

My husband and I, along with our 5 teenage grandchildren just spent an amazing week at The Loon Star cabin. The home was spotless when we arrived. Everything listed or shown is accurate, and the place is even better than the description. There was absolutely nothing more that we would need. There was every imaginable thing you could need in the kitchen. The decorations and bedding were all very nice. The lake is very clean and the kids loved using the two kayaks and the floating ring in the water. The outside furniture is very nice and the view is spectacular. We had a small bonfire going in the back started by my 2 Eagle Scout grandsons. Fabulous and relaxing vacation. I even spoiled myself and didn't put on makeup even once and left my hair natural - now that's a vacation!!!

Wonderful Lake Home

The property is like new condition and was immaculate upon arrival. Amazing views to the lake and great deck to sit out and enjoy the views. We had rented a pontoon in town and enjoyed see many Loons with their babies out on the lake. We'll be back!
