The house looked and smelled so clean I thought I was walking into new construction. The view was breathtaking and the momma deer with her 2 fawns were the cherry on top. If you're looking for a place to stay in Canyon Lake, I highly recommend this Cozy Hillside A-Frame.

Beautiful place with an incredible view. So much peace and quiet but close to everything! A two minute drive to a nature trail, a few minutes from Canyon Lake (North Park was my favorite spot to view it), tubing was 10 minutes away and a bunch of great little restaurants just down the hill. Natural Bridge Caverns and a nice winery/restaurant were under a half hour away. Or you could just stay in, enjoy the beautiful house, watch the deer, sleep in, or enjoy the porch with a coffee or glass of wine. We loved it here!

Beautiful and stunning. Location is gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. Driveway is a bit steep but the kids loved it. Backing up it makes it more fun and easier to get out. Try the pizzeria close by, very good! Very remote, Schlitterbahn is 30mins away, along with the caves and zoofari. Also, go on a night walk on the roads, the stars, moon and sky is beautiful. Also, when we stay a storm rolled through, watching the lightning while playing scrabble over the hills was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend. The owners are very warming, prepared and VERY responsive. We enjoyed our stay, if we could give more than 5 stars we would. Thank you to the Hodges for such a welcoming home, we loved it!!!!
