There was much to appreciate by this family gathering. A large kitchen, lots of games and a shopping areas very close. We enjoy our stay.

Check in and communication with hosts was great. House was beautiful but there were issues. We had a group of 11 people staying and needed every bathroom. The downstairs bathroom shower was broken. They sent a plumber the next day but he couldn’t fix it. In addition, there was only hot water in the master bedroom so if one of us wanted a hot shower they needed to take it in the master. I know these types of things happen tho so I tried not to let it hamper our stay. With that said, I think they need to welcome guest with all of the drapes being opened and they need to buy an actual rug for the living room. It’s some kind of thin blanket that bunches up and moves around the entire time we were there. It just seemed like the little things were missing from the rental and in my opinion that matters.

Thank you for your feedback and kind words about the home and our communication. We sincerely apologize for the downstairs shower issue. We responded immediately and arranged for a plumber to visit, but unfortunately, the repair required parts that could not be obtained during your stay. We would also like to clarify the hot water concern. Our plumber inspected the system during your stay and confirmed that hot water was available throughout the home. The water heater is less than a year old, and all bathrooms and the kitchen share the same hot water system. Regarding the drapes, Sacramento experiences extremely high temperatures, so we intentionally keep them closed when the home is unoccupied to help maintain a comfortable temperature for arriving guests. Guests are always welcome to open them. We appreciate your feedback about the living room rug and will take it into consideration. While we regret the shower inconvenience, we are proud of our team's prompt response and commitment to guest satisfaction.

The house had plenty of space to accommodate our large family for a wedding. The games were a hit with kids and adults alike. The beds are on the firmer side which not all the guests enjoyed. Also, we messaged the hosts about smoke alarms chirping and never got a response, but we were able to replace the batteries ourselves. We would book again for the space.

I have stayed at this place now for two different group gaming weekends and it cannot be matched for this purpose. First, the overall space and layout is great. There is plenty of room for multiple board games etc. to be going at the same time. The myriad other games throughout the house also serve as a fun distraction as well when you need a change of pace. The internet was also very stable and fast for any LAN Party type needs as well. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Everyone in my group raved about the mattress quality. The kitchen was also a high point with quality appliances and all the kitchenware one could need. Check-in/out was also easy and seamless as the hosts were very attentive and communicative. Our group absolutely intends on making this our regular location moving forward!

We had our annual PC gaming week with friends. Wifi was fast and responsive. Property was clean, large and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Neighborhood was residential for good walks around neighborhood and meeting friendly cats along the walk. Neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Host was responsive to communications. Beds were comfy. Great place to stay.
