- Internet: We have fiber optic with 2 different providers so when one service goes down, we have the other as back up!
- Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the bamboo near the bungalow, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Don’t worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
- Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
- Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season.
It’s completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.
