We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary in the summer of 2024 and have enjoyed the beauty of nature since before we married. When our children were young, our first real family vacation (that wasn’t driving to and from school to visit our parents) was camping in Yellowstone National Park. We filled every possible moment with ranger tours, walks to tourist favorites, and drives from one end of the park to the other. We didn’t want to miss anything because we didn’t know if we would have an opportunity to return. We loved Yellowstone so much that we returned regularly. We loved knowing we could return repeatedly; we could see the same THINGS, but they were constantly changing. We have never tired of Yellowstone National Park, and there is still SO much we have never seen. We have dreamed of having a home near the park where we could gather as a family at the end of the day and continue making memories. Gibbon Meadows IS that dream. We hope your family will also make wonderful memories here and you will want to return year after year.

Gibbon Meadows is our family home away from home. We are a small family business. We hope you love our home as much as we do.
Guests will have access to the whole home except for areas that are locked. Although guests do not have access to these areas, they represent our commitment to your safety and ensuring our cleaners have access to the supplies needed to maintain a quality experience for our guests.
🔒 The LODGE has locked closets in the Mystic Falls Bedroom and the Laundry Room on the main floor. There are also locked areas in the Basement where the water heaters are located. A locked door in the garage on the wall opposite the guest’s entry into the laundry room goes to the maintenance garage.
🔒 The LOFT apartment has a locked closet in the Norris Geyser Basin Bedroom, a locked area where the water heater is located in the laundry room, and a locked door in the mudroom entrance to The Loft that leads to the maintenance garage.
2️⃣There are two units on the property. You are renting both units: Gibbon Meadows LODGE, the 6 bedroom, 6 1/2 bathroom house, and Gibbon Meadows LOFT, the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. There is NO CONNECTING DOOR between the house and the apartment. The entrance to Gibbon Meadows Lodge is on the covered porch to the right of the driveway. The entrance to Gibbon Meadows Loft is on the left side of the garage doors. You will have access to the garage on the right. The garage on the left is locked and not available to guests. When you look at the picture of the front of the house, you will see a door to the left of the garage doors.
🚘🚘The driveway is about 70 feet deep, so plenty of parking exists. Street parking is also available except during snow season.
There are no exceptions to our pet policy. If you have a service animal, please let us know when booking the property. We will schedule extra time for deep cleaning after your departure. **

Things to Be Aware of
Cameras - There are NO indoor cameras! 5 outdoor security cameras record video: SE & SW corners facing backyard, above lodge door facing driveway, NE corner facing front yard, NW corner facing side entrance & yard, Ring cameras on front doors of lodge (house) and loft (apartment) record audio & video.
Potential Noise - There is potential noise from HWY 20 entering West Yellowstone. Also, during winter, you might hear snowmobiles. The snowmobile tours go right by our home! Sound machines are provided in each bedroom. None of our guests have mentioned this.
Wildlife - Bears and other wildlife can be present on the property as this a small town surrounded by National Forest. Please make sure you are "Bear Aware" and secure food appropriately. Bearproof garbage cans are provided onsite. No food or food waste should be left outside.
