Stylish, ultra clean and cozy home was perfect for a weeklong stay! Dogs loved the fully enclosed yard, and humans enjoyed the peaceful outdoor and indoor sitting areas. Thoughtful details throughout the property. Great quiet neighborhood close to downtown and CWU campus.

The property was very nicely outfitted and very clean. Everything seemed new. It was nice to have the option of cooking some of our own meals, while also being close to restaurants and bars downtown. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous location close to everything! We walked to lunch, played "HORSE" with the mini golf holes on the property and slept like babies in the comfy bed! A truly wonderful stay!

Stop 5 on our two week road trip from Ohio to Washington

Favorite property of the whole trip! We loved the outdoor space. Quiet neighborhood but walkable to many places. It had everything we needed during our two night stay.

Beautiful home!

We loved staying here - it was so clean and comfortable (and really cute decor!). We used the pack n play for our baby, a nice touch! The hot tub and little fenced in yard were a great bonus; our dog loved it, too.

this place was exceptional. perfect for 2 or even 4 if you wanted to use the couch bed. loved the hot tub, location, Could theoretically walk to downtown from here and hit many restaurants, shops and bars. Had very good interior layout and use of space for the size of the house. I would live in a place like this. loved the outdoor area as well. host did a great job of decorating both inside and outside as well. plenty off street parking space both out front and in back from alley access. also plenty of street parking. quiet area. could use a bit more privacy looking West towards neighbor on corner. maybe increase the fence height- if the city would allow that :). That would be only thing I would add to complete the experience. If I lived there I would find some way to do that. However, this did not detract from the overall wonderful experience and enjoyment of this place, and still gets 5 stars. highly recommended.

This property is so adorable, very well put together and incredibly clean. The hot tub was so nice to have available, and the mini putt putt golf in the yard was so fun for my kiddo! I would highly recommend staying here anytime you’re in Ellensburg. It’s centrally located, and while parts of the neighborhood could use some improvements, we felt safe and were able to get to all of the places we needed to within a few minutes. The host was wonderful, and understanding when I woke up to a sick kiddo and needed to stay an extra half hour after check out.

This was our second stay at this property. It’s clean and well appointed. Unfortunately there was a fluke issue and the host wasn’t notified of our reservation. Therefore, it wasn’t available by 4:00. The host was very responsive when she realized the issue and sent someone over immediately to clean it. We still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the response and communication. We would stay again.

An Absolutely Perfect Stay at The Wood House! Our experience at The Wood House was, in a word, excellent. From start to finish, the communication with the host was top-notch—responsive, clear, and incredibly helpful. It's clear that a tremendous amount of thought and attention to detail went into making this house a truly exceptional rental. The Wood House is expertly set up and arranged, providing absolutely everything needed for a terrific stay. We especially loved the backyard and the thoughtful patio arrangement, which offered wonderful options for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. The convenience of having two gates for street access was also a fantastic touch.Every aspect of our stay demonstrated the hosts' commitment to providing a comfortable and memorable experience. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend The Wood House to anyone looking for an outstanding rental.
