Guests booking both homes gain access to a special area we call the "Wooded Path" located on the "Dalton Gang Hideout", a gathering place for your Host's family and friends since 1996. This unique area, The Wooded Path, enhances your group’s stay with private outdoor amenities. When both house's aren't booked, this area mostly serves as a "buffer" area between the 2 vacation houses, giving house more privacy.

WOODED PATH & PAVILION
An almost 400 foot long concrete path, winds through a grove of trees along the river, connecting the 2 vacation rental homes. About Halfway down the meandering path, you'll find a large covered pavilion with swings and benches—perfect for reminiscing, storytelling, and making memories.

LARGE DOCK & OPTIONAL RV HOOKUPS
Enjoy a spacious dock with a covered seating area, ideal for gatherings by the water. Plus, this property features 3 optional RV hookups for those who prefer to bring their own accommodations.

LAZY RIVER FUN
In summer, many guests will bring inner tubes to float from Great Escape's dock to the River Lookout’s sandy beach, then walk back along the wooded path and do it again! A perfect way to keep the kids entertained all day.

Bad weather? No problem! The spacious interior of the Great Escape River House comfortably accommodates large groups across all three homes, ensuring that rain never dampens your gathering.

The well-stocked kitchen makes group meals easy, with all the cooking tools and essentials you need. While we provide enough tableware for 30+ guests, we recommend bringing disposable plates and utensils for larger groups.
