About this property

Beach access, High Bank Waterfront, 2-bedroom bungalow in Coupeville with WiFi

Nestled on the east side of Whidbey Island, the charming Robert's Bluff Bungalow commands breathtaking views across the mile wide Saratoga Passage, stretching from Mt Baker to Mt Rainer, including Camano Island and the Cascades.

Guests enjoy a community beach for relaxing walks, a playground with swings, and a little free library. The Bungalow offers a large deck w/ furniture & outdoor pillows, large Bar-b-Q, fireplace, and the nicest neighbors anywhere!

The interior, (just over 600 square feet), has modern farmhouse vibes, and offers a kitchen (stocked with plates, serving dishes, pots & pans, etc) laundry room, wi-fi, a 50” smart television, DVDs, books, puzzles & more.

The Bungalow has been lovingly restored & updated, trying to reuse where possible, supporting local businesses, and choosing organic and sustainable materials - while keeping the charm of the neighborhood.

Please note: during weekdays, there is the possibility the Navy jets will fly at a low altitude, close to the Bungalow, while conducting test flights on this portion of the Island. The frequency and duration may vary- they are more active during Summer months due to weather and daylight hours. Occasionally, the jets fly early evening hours. While some folks enjoy the jets, others can be sensitive to the noise.

Of note: The clawfoot tub is amazing! but does require some care so that water does not spill onto the floor when bathing or showering.

Maximum (4) persons on property, day and night. No parties, large gatherings, family reunions from other VRBOs, etc.

Park in the gravel area only, please. No street parking (gravel parking accommodates 2 cars).

Guests have access to the complete property, including outdoor furniture pillows and lawn games- which are stored in the shed.

Important: Service animals will need to find another home as our family has severe dog & cat allergies. Thank you in advance for understanding that we cannot have any pets on premises.

We'll be available to answer any questions during your stay. Welcome!

Cute Bungalow for a Mom's Getaway

The bungalow was cozy and thoughtfully decorated. We loved how easy it was to check in and how quiet the neighborhood was. It got a little chilly in the evening, but the fireplace did a great job warming the place up. The view is beautiful, and we loved watching the little woodland animals in the yard.

Beautiful, cozy, well-appointed cottage with a fantastic view of Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. Although the host was extremely responsive, there were internet and tv issues which could not be resolved before our departure. The house is heated with a small gas fireplace. It was several hours to bring the home to a comfortable temperature but maintained nicely after that. The beds were comfortable, the tankless water system was perfect for showers and hot water. The large deck was inviting. We did not take advantage of the outdoor grill or fire pit because although sunny, it was not yet spring temperatures. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Bungalow.

great view!

I stayed here by myself. The cabin was small and quaint and perfect for me. The view was amazing, and it's a very short walk to the beach access (about three houses away). I only slept in one of the beds, but it was very comfortable and cozy. My only gripe is the shower situation. It is a clawfoot tub with a shower curtain. It's charming, but sometimes a bit treacherous to shower with the curtain sticking to me while I shower. Not my favorite.
