The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. The neighborhood was perfect. Although parking was plentiful, I didn't rent a car an so we walked to the medical center every day. We walked to the grocery store, restaurants, the Basilica, and even the zoo.Our host worked hard to fix some minor problems. They were super-responsive and friendly too. The kitchen was nicely stocked. I would highly recommend!
The inside was extremely nice. The mini teas are excellent. Communication was fairly easy, although we had a couple snags. The grounds needed a lot of attending. And the beds were not very comfortable.

This property was a good stay. The house was clean and very equipped kitchen. The toilets are heated. The draw back is the house is in the back of another house so the only view is a garage and ally way. Ugh. Front street parking is a challenge so you can easily get a parking ticket, the host offered 2 reimburse.
I would recommend this property, especially for families. The only real complaints I have are…it was difficult to cool the upstairs without having the downstairs too cold. The picture of the entrance is misleading as this is the back unit of the building and not accessible from the door in the VRBO listing. There also seems to be a mouse issue as there are droppings and urine under the kitchen sink. The garbage disposal did not work. There was a tub of standing water in the backyard that is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. In my opinion these are minor inconveniences. The location and everything else about this property outweigh these negative things.
The upstairs would not cool with the outside temp above 85 degrees but did better at night when the temp decressed

Sorry for that inconvenience but, we did reach out to you to see if there was anything we could assist you with regarding your stay. When you brought up how to cool the property more we suggested you adjust the thermostat to your liking. We never received any more feedback after that suggested that adjusting the thermostat to achieve the results you wanted. The temperature is controlled by a smart thermostat & is set to remain 72 degrees inside the property unless we allow guests to manually adjust the thermostat. If we would’ve known that you weren’t cool enough we would have sought out to resolve the issue before your stay ended. After your stay, we investigated the issue you presented to make sure that it wasn’t just your preference to have a cooler home or if there was a serious issue. After investigating we had the ducts cleaned and the filter changed. Any guests who book with us after you will not have any problems, that issue now resolved. Thanks for staying with us and for the 4 STAR ⭐️ rating! Take Care!
