This is a clean comfortable home. The kitchen is well equipped. The property is close to town. The host was helpful when we had an issue. Only downside is the water has an odor.

Great location to visit Grand Marais and surrounding coastline attractions. Good living room and kitchen spaces; bunkhouse would be great for kids and helpful having second toilet and sink there. The main house bedrooms are small, plenty of hooks to hang clothes, but no room to put suitcases in one of the two bedrooms; a smaller (double) bed in each room would work better, give more space. I think most guests would want to bring their own drinking water as the well water at the cabin has a strong taste of iron.

Perfect for our Family

Very nice accommodation and the bunk house worked out great! Very quick and easy access to downtown Grand Marais which is a wonderful small town. Equal distance that we could go to Tahquamenon Falls one day and the Pictured Rocks boat tour the next. Highly recommend staying here.

The house was clean and well decorated. The best part was having a bunk house for my son and his friends to stay in. It was nice having the garage too. It was great having the extras stocked in the kitchen and the TV set up ready to go. Nice and close to the small town of Grand Marais.

Our family of 8 had a great stay. Nice and quiet, very comfortable, and the rental had everything we needed. Communication with the host was great. FYI, your confirmation email will come from Lodgix, not VRBO. Because of that, I overlooked the email and wasn't sure how to check in. Leslie was very quick to respond (text the number given in the listing) and all was well. Another important thing to note, the nearest grocery store is two hours away in Marquette. We did not realize this until we arrived. There are two small markets in town, but they are TERRIBLY overpriced and the selection is limited. We ended up reworking our schedule to include activities in Marquette so we could hit up the grocery store. It ended up being one of our favorite days so it worked out just fine! Don't miss Sable Falls and Sable Beach. So beautiful. We can't wait to come back to the UP!

Nice home for a small family trip

Family trip with the kids for their first UP experience, home was great for the 3 older kids. They enjoyed that the bunk house was separate from the main house so they could stay up later and not wake up the baby. We enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit out back! Not a crazy drive to Munising to show them Pictured Rocks and enjoy 4th of July fireworks! Grand Marais itself is a small little town, so be prepared to not see a regular grocery store on the outside! We enjoyed our trip though and the house made our stay comfortable!
