relaxing stay floating on the water

Maggie Joe's was a wonderful experience in this beautifully restored houseboat located on a quiet setting on the Sampit River with gorgeous very old Spanish moss covered oak trees surrounding the area...Owner Kevin goes out of his way to make sure you are enjoying your stay and was very gracious and informative about the area. Looking forward to booking this again sometime. Thanks Kevin!

James was a great guest . I met him and his wife for just a brief minute and we had some close ties , what a small world sometimes . Hope to host again

Excellent!! The views were excellent!! Plenty of wildlife and sea life. Quiet and peaceful. The host was the Best. Helpful, friendly and quick to respond to anything. Plan on staying there again.

Overall this was a great experience! The boat was super clean, and we enjoyed our time. Kevin was a great host, very responsive, and helpful with questions. The sleeping arrangements were good, we fit 6 of us without too much difficulty. The fishing gear and kayaks/life jackets weren't in great shape, so we didn't get to enjoy that very much. The wildlife was amazing! We saw dolphins, frogs, gaters, crabs, and a variety of birds. It was definitely worth it, and if we're in the area again, we'd consider another stay!
