Discover your intimate getaway at our secluded cabin on the highly sought after, Toccoa River. Our charming 2-bedroom retreat is ideal for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Experience world-class trout fishing right at your doorstep and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of surrounding wildlife. With easy access to Blue Ridge, you can explore hiking trails, local shops, and stunning vistas, making it the perfect base for your outdoor adventures.

River Zen greets our guests with the utmost view of the Toccoa River inviting you with the sound of rushing water 24/7. Our expansive deck gives our guests plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view.

The open floor plan cabin provides plenty of room to move about, giving our guests the space they need while also bringing everyone closer together. The kitchen, living room and sitting area next to the fire are a great place too cook, read a book, watch your favorite movie on our 42` Smart TV, play games or simply chit chat. The bathroom is located on the main floor just outside bedroom #1, while bedroom #2 is just up the stairs.

The main room offers a comfy queen bed with a few antique touches for those who enjoy old things. There is a large closet for storage, a 32` Smart TV, two bedside tables, a lamp for a low lighting option and a fan for those warmer summer days.

Bedroom #2 is equipped with two Twin XL`s, perfect for kids or even taller adults, oriented to face each other for easy night time conversation. There is a dresser for clothing storage, a chest, additional chair and a coat rack.

The outdoor patio and deck space is plentiful! You can walk right out (almost) over the river. We provide several seating options and a grill for all the grill masters out there. Catch a fish? Throw it on the grill!

The cabin is located in close proximity to some amazing neighbors (also the owners of River Zen). They are more than accommodating and will respect your space, if you want, or hang out and chat if you`re the outgoing type. There is a large fire pit in the backyard along the river and firewood is provided. You may want to bring your own lighter though as they tend to go missing when left out.

The bocce` ball court is for your use so please enjoy! Right across from there is where you will access the river safely. There are wooden steps that go directly down to the water.

While this is a free standing cabin, the outdoor decks wind and connect to the next home so please be courteous of any signs that say `private` and do not cross.

This was our 4th time staying here. It has become a special place to us; the peace of the river; quietness of the cabin; comfortable setting. This trip was for our honeymoon and we loved every minute of listening to the rain while we rested from the busy weeks of wedding planning and activities. I'm sure we'll be back again in the spring!

Our family enjoyed our stay. Great location for tubing. Grounds are well maintained. The interior of the cabin is a bit dated and cooking was tricky at times. An upgraded set of cookware and utensils would be nice. The bedrooms do not have any vents in the rooms, so the doors have to be left open to stay cool. We appreciated the well stocked fire pit. All in all, we were satisfied with our stay.

River Zen - Great Place For Adventure or Relaxation

The property is beautiful. It is a separate unit from the owners, and feels like it is your own place. The unit has all the amenities and has been upgraded. It comfortably sleeps 4 with a wide open kitchen and living room. The unit is right on the river and has the greatest deck ever. We spent a ton of time there reading and listening to the river. We went on four different hikes (all within 15 minutes) as well as kayaking on the river. The owner has kayaks and tubes for floating down the river. Kayaking the river was amazing. There was a few small rapids and boulders to dodge, but mostly a nice relaxing ride. The unit is 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Mallory (the property manager) and the owners Jim and Peggy were very kind and responsive. We would love to visit again!!!!
