The 6800 square foot home sits on 4 acres of lake frontage on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas and sleeps 28. The property has 420 feet of water frontage that is flat to the lake so you can walk right in, this is not one of those properties that is up high on a cliff with just a lake view. The property is 2.2 miles from HEB grocery store, gas station, 7-11, restaurants, Walgreens, Target, Wells Fargo, etc….and it is the closest Lake Travis rental property to downtown
(just 22 minutes) and only 27 miles to Austin Bergstrom International Airport, making it the most desirable part of Lake Travis.

The upstairs has a massive open great room, living and dining area with a beautiful view of the lake and there is a spacious kitchen with island counter seating,. For bedrooms, there is a master, and 2 individual rooms with king beds.

Downstairs has a large game room, media room (Media room has 5 Full size beds and serves as 2 bedrooms), a bunk room with 3 bunk beds, a room with a king and murphy bed, a room with a full, a kitchen, and 3 bathrooms.

Beautifully “active” property has it all! Our group spent hours outside enjoying everything from the pool to the hammocks to the pickleball & volleyball courts! Our host David went above and beyond with communication, suggestions for our trip, and addressing a few minor issues. Always prompt and responsive. The only thing that should be mentioned is the house is slowly becoming not in the lake as the lake waters have dropped substantially. But the property isn’t self is as-advertised. Wed definitely come back!

It is hard to overstate how amazing this place is! In fact, the only thing that exceeds it is the graciousness of its host, David. There was not a single thing more we could have wanted from either: the property is stunning, it is jam-packed with things to do, the location is absolutely perfect in that it’s private yet convenient to all necessities, and David’s attentiveness before, during, and after our visit was spectacular. We highly recommend this property without reservation and look forward to returning soon!

I hosted my bachelor party at Camp Sandy and I truly couldn't have asked for a better location. Any activity you can think of is there. It's an easy place to entertain a large group. I cannot recommend Camp Sandy enough. We had the most wonderful stay, and David was the greatest host. He accommodated us with an early check in, late check out, and even sent us cookies during our stay. The grounds are so beautiful, and there are so many things to do. We had a group of 19 adults, and everyone had a blast playing volleyball, pickleball, swimming, kayaking, playing pool, and hanging out. We can’t wait to come back.

Camp Sandy is great

We had a bachelor party of 11 that stayed there and we all had a great time. The only thing we wished was different would have been the lake actually being full, but since there is a drought in the region the lake was below 50% capacity.

Family Birthday Celebration

We celebrated three family birthdays during the July 4th weekend. We had a great time and the house had plenty of room to accommodate everyone during rain events. While some of the rains were heavy and caused some issues, David was quick responsiveness was appreciated by everyone. Definitely would stay here again.

This property is lovingly named after my mother, Sandy Pikoff. Camp Sandy is all about enjoying life and making happy memories with ones that you love. My mom did lots of charity work, so in her honor we are committed to sharing this beautiful property with groups of foster care kids on a regular basis, and donating a portion of our income to the local foster care community. It is a truly unique and beautiful property. I have added lots of amenities and will continue to build this into an amazing place for people to make life-long memories. I hope and expect that people will fall in love with this place and come back each year.
